And p.s.: Where did all of the other customers in the diner go when the authorities showed up? The power goes out and everybody disappears? What the what?
That beach scene fooled me big time with Radcliffe as it just froze and ended. So Dr Radcliffe stayed in the mainframe since he missed his wife Agnes that he witnessed die twice? Who did Coulson make a deal with and why is he in outer space?
No real surprises in the finale. We all saw the possibilities coming but at least they didn't pull some last minute lame cop out.
Hopefully the show keeps thinking big concept and next time we get SHIELD in Space with some Guardians of the Galaxy style adventures or Escape from Asteroidica Space Prison Break.
No one's talking about Ghost Rider and Daisy's takedown of the Superior? Plus I thought the ghost rider special effects looked better now than in the first story arc and took some inspiration from Dr Strange. Great one liners throughout the episode and overall a very satisfying finale and looking forward to season 5.
It was fine, but over in a few seconds and I didn't think it was as good as some of the earlier takedowns this season. Like this one:
As much as I like Ghost Rider finally has the chains back, I still find it distracting in the wide shots and see him wearing sneakers. There is nothing tough or threatening about sneakers! Put him in boots!
As dumb as Radcliffe has been throughout the season, I still feel bad for his and his lady's end. He pulled it together at the end for a decent sendoff.
Radcliffe was just guilty of hubris and his invention came crashing down around him.
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.*
Well if it helps bring me back down to my true level of illiteracy, I knew of the poem only because of BB and I had to google to find the poem and author. So, basically, I'm not any kind of literary maven, I'm just a pop culture and internet hack.
I'm not sure you can call this Agents of SHIELD anymore. They're not agents, and SHIELD doesn't even exist. For that matter, Earth doesn't exist, either. This show just gets weirder and weirder, but I'll still take it over the mediocre first season any day.

I wish I could agree but, for me, the show went downhill with the Framework story line last season. If I really wanted weird, there was always Legion. After last night I'm not sure whether I'll stick with Agents or call it a day (or night). Nothing about it was consistent with the Shield that I've always appreciated. The dark and murky cinematography didn't help either.
I enjoyed the premiere last night. Much better opening than Aida and the framework from last season. Now at least we have the Kree involved.
