How the heck is there NOT a thread on this show? Was not his method of beating the sodomy charge on last weeks episode outrageous and hilarious enough to warrant it?

That is why it can't be discussed here without getting banned or something.

While I have some quibbles about Leo always being distracted about his current pressing problems, then pulling a deus ex machine out of his trick bag every week, I do find the show entertaining. Kind of Borgias lite mixed with Batman...guilty pleasure.

I don't lurk as much as I used to and I NEVER listen. Comes from being old and cynical.

I have caught a couple references to BORGIA characters on the show...in the past tense if I recall (one was an assassination reference). So I assume this takes place shortly after. And I thought of Batman when we saw the "Pig Signal" on the clouds! Looking forward to seeing how they handle Vlad Dracula this week. I assume it will be pig-less!

Historically, the events in "Demons" occur *before* (by about 30 to 40 years) the events in "The Borgias."

The Pope (Sixtus) in "Demons" is two before Alexander (Borgia) ... OTOH, there *was* another Borgia relative who was Pope before Sixtus. Confused yet? smile.gif

Continue discussion in the above-mentioned original thread. The two won't merge cleanly.

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.
