Couldn't find a 2013 French Open in HD thread, so I thought I'd start one. Be sure to include your pay tv provider, the network (OTA station's call letters when necessary) or streaming service (eg:Watch ESPN or NBC Live Extra).
Started DVRing both ESPN'.s 5-10 am (ET) and Tennis Channel's 10 am+ coverage from NYC's FIOS. Lots of overlapping replays due to all the rain Tuesday, pushing 1st-round matches into today's 2nd-round lineups. PQ seems okay from both networks, although less overcast skies from Paris should bring out 1080's crisper images soon. Wonder if there are any 3D deliveries? -- John

ESPN pic quality is abysmal whenver the player is iso'd against the background/stands in shadow. The main camera looks a bit better than last year, but overall the pic quality still vastly sucks compared to the plethora of options earlier in week 1 on 702-706.
About to watch Azarenka and Sharapova in the semi-finals. ESPN2 on Comcast. It's looking good but it's the first tennis I've watched in a while.
1st game Sharapova couldn't hit in a first serve in, lost her game. Then took Azernka's serve away from her they are even now.
here is the coverage for today....
The television broadcast will be carried by NBC, and it will begin at 9 a.m. ET and run through 2 p.m. The first matchup of the day is the women's final, though the men's doubles final is on right after that. That matchup will see No. 1 seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan take on Nicolas Mahut and Michael Llodra.
