For some reason, the original thread was locked. I'm curious, anyone know why on Netflix and Amazon they have the episodes in HD starting season 4 (I think)? Watching repeats (on TV), the earlier episodes look like they're in HD like the later ones. I don't think they're stretching those episodes. Just curious, I'm assuming it's rights or something.

Yes it is in HD. Most likely it was filmed with movie camera just like, "Law and Order". The episodes of Law and Order from even 1990 are broadcast in HD.

I think I have seen every episode at least twice. My favorite episode was the one where Robert turned "ethnic" and started hanging out with his female partner's friends. Many great lines but I remember when Ray calls Robert "Super Fly". And the parts where Robert dances are hilarious (I think he described himself as a kitchen dancer... )

I thought I remember that CBS paid Ray Ramano 40 million dollars to have one more season ,could be wrong.

Yeah-in prime time didn't much watch this show. In syndication really came to appreciate it. The episode you mention is great but I still laugh my ass off when Robert is "discovered" and then duped out of several thousand $$. To follow is a home made photo shoot to cover his ass with family and present supposed professional photos from a modeling agency.
