The real question is whether Cassie Scerbo will return. How can she not, after surviving the most harrowing shark-related experience of the entire cast? biggrin.gif

How hard is it to get a shark with a frickin' laser beam on it's head?

I want to say it will be a "great loss," however, we are talking about Tara Reid....

Tara Reid wants the movie title changed to "Dark Skies", because of the storm, dark skies and sharks flying in the sky..eek.gif Movie is set to be shown in theaters at midnight on August 2nd.

Love how she says she'd like to be back for the sequel 'if the script is good". Honey, that didn't stop you the first time, why let that be a factor the second time around?

After all the hub=bub, I watched this. Thinking perhaps that, inlike anything else on SyFy, this might be a "so-bad-it's-good" watch. But it wasn't...it's just absolute crap. Really grueling to sit through. Couldn't even laugh with it or at it. I know that others know its bad...but this was just boring bad. All the drugs and booze in the world can't make this thing even slightly enjoyable. Give me "Attack of the 50-Foot Cheerleader" over this tripe any day.

I would be surprised if SYFY showed something that wasn't cheaply made crap.

Considering the present management/mindset- I don't think there's much chance of anything other than Asylum league movies being made for Syfy.

Sigh. A far cry from the days when the major program on sciFi (nee Syfy) was Battlestar Galactica.

There is some good news: Ron Moore is finally back with his new series 'Helix' this fall. smile.gif So there is at least some chance for the network to redeem itself with something worthy of the label. A little.

Not until Syfy has wrung every last possible nickle out of it. biggrin.gif

They're not about to kill their Golden Goose, and those sharks' 15 minutes have already stretched out further than their wildest dreams. Hey, that suggests a new title: "Goosagedden! You won't believe how much the Big Honker poops!"

Not yet. All we've got so far is the rough-framing; finish work begins in a couple of weeks. This endless rain's been killing us. Got some drawings though - maybe I'll post those. smile.gif

When I hear about a movie that's "so bad it's good" or "the best worst movie ever", I generally find them to be utter garbage and I don't even laugh once.

This one broke that mold.

I laughed from beginning to end. Still laughing as I write this. I'm not convinced they intentionally made this thing this bad, but I don't care. My wife and I both laughed so hard we had tears streaming down our cheeks. And I now have a laughing headache. Really loved this movie and highly recommend it - but you really have to approach it with the right frame of mind. Just the description on Netflix made us laugh, so we went into it with that state of mind.
