Exactly. When you have a being that powerful, there is always a reason their powers are restricted. Otherwise they could do anything and the show would be over.

But what was his restriction? He did Malcolm's bidding so Malcolm could have ruled the world by telling Jobe to handle the enemies. The legendary four horsemen were pathetically underpowered by comparison and they were supposed to be the most feared beings around. They also served Malcolm for some reason.

They did show he was easily taken out by some atlantian items the team came across. So he was pretty powerful but easily taken out too.

True, but he was only defeated by sneaky magic by Team Crane. The Horsemen didn't fare much better against Team Crane either and there were four of them. They couldn't even beat the B-team members in hand-to-hand combat.

If the Crane gang were not around Jobe could easily have done more damage than the Horsemen did.

Sleepy Hollow Axed after 4 seasons

The supernatural drama, led by Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie in Season 1, was a hit for the network when it premiered in 2013...but its ratings steadily declined from Season 2 on...

The writers took a good cast and amusing premise and just slowly killed it each season.

This season was a little better but at least someone read the handwriting on the wall and the season ending ep played more like a series finale.

I read that handwriting early on and exited its audience a few eps into S-2. The concept always seemed kind of unsustainable to me. (See also: 'Once Upon A Time').

Well, I can't say I'll miss it much .. the chemistry between Nicole Beharie as Abbie Mills and Crane was very good .. I think when she moved on and that was lost, it cost the show ..

What will I do with my Friday nights now? No Grimm and no Sleepy Hollow. Good thing we still have Z Nation to fall back on. Like a warm comfortable pair of slippers.

We enjoyed the new season but we didn't rush to watch it and usually had 3 or 4 backed up on the DVR.

No more Emerald City and The Exorcist is unlikely to return. Just leaves The Originals for me.

I didn't expect it to continue. but I would have liked another season. Since this past season was one of my favorites.

I expected it to be cancelled last year. So I am glad it lasted one season longer than I expected. Although I will still miss it.

IMO, the reboot brought this series back to life. The new characters plus Jenny made it. As for Nicole Beharie and her sacrifice, I didn't miss a heartbeat. Once Jenny became implanted in her role Beharie became excess baggage.
