The Jet/Mia game at least has some meaning. A lot at stake for Mia, Bal, SD, and PIT.

Also since the NYJ/MIA game is at 1PM, SD could be out of playoff contention by their 4:25PM kickoff.
They should have moved the NYJ/MIA game to 4:25PM since so many other teams are depending on Miami to lose.

That is so a team can not slough so to speak. With Den and NE playing at the same time, both teams have to play to win to get the #1 seed.

Here is the original schedule.

If the schedule wasn't changed and NE lost that means Denver could sit out Manning.

IMO this is one of the better things that Goodell has done. Put a lot of Divisional games at the end of the season, and flex the games at the end, especially the ones that have significant playoff implications.

Seems that fox audio had some issues during the giants pre-kick off as the audio faded in and out....must be the rain. PQ is usual crap from Fox at metlife. Hopefully they get good cameras for the Super Bowl next year....i hate the local pregame coverage...i wish wnyw would get better hd cameras.

Chiefs are resting their starters. Good for San Diego and Miami, bad for Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

If the current scores from both CIN-BAL and MIA-NYJ hold up, San Diego is in with a win.

I hope CBS does the right thing and show KC/SD in NY instead of BUF/NE, especially now that SD is in with a win.

NE still has to win to have a chance at the No 2 seed, especially with Cinci winning.

I'm getting sick and tired of watching Tom Brady.
It would be interesting to see if SD can beat a KC team with a bunch of backups.

KC resting it's QB and starters. Inactive. Who would want to see that travesty of a game besides SD? Go Chargers!

Flacco's blizzard of picks eliminates the Ravens from the post season. Enjoy the golf!

Yeah, me too. I'd like it if BUF gave NE everything its got.

We're getting the SD/KC game here, which sounds already like it's going to be boring.

Meanwhile, It'd be nice to see Denver/Oakland, and see how many touchdowns and yards Manning gets, especially since he needs 265 to tie the record.

We'll, KC currently leading 21-14 at the half, so not really boring now.

Expect CBS to switch most of the country from OAK-DEN to KC-SD after halftime.

UPDATE: Looks like the switch has been made.

CBS, you suck.

I would rather watch Manning and the Broncos break records in what is currently a blowout than watch KC's second and third stringers in a tight game with SD.

What is exciting is watching season and individual all-time records being broken.

Edit: Switched to Fox for GB/CHI game, which is way more interesting than KC/SD.

I was talking about the OAK-DEN audience.

NYC might switch if the Patriots go up by more than 18.

Yeah I don't think that's going to happen. Buffalo decided to show up and make it a game.

No switching if margin is less than 18. You won't get bonus coverage either. KC-SD is going to finish first. (Barring overtime, which actually might happen. The game is currently tied at 24)

Joe Buck just welcomed a new audience. Must be most of the TB-NO viewers, since none of the FOX games are over yet.

Succup missed the GW FG, so it is going to OT.
C'mon CBS , flick the switch already!
I'm listening on the radio.

Free football in SD. Chargers can get in the playoffs with just a tie. Pittsburgh needs the Chiefs to win.

Finally, CBS switches here in NY.

The Pittsburgh fans must be pulling their hair out, they missed the playoffs by few feet to the right.

Great game Chaagiz! Congrats to Rivers et. al. Woodhead should star in the next Peter Jackson films.
If they get by the Bengals a good team but with Dalton's propensity for picks, I predict they're in the AFCCG.

Chargers would have to win at Cincy and at Denver to make the AFCCG.

Oh Gawd no. Individual records in meaningless games are compelling?

KC/SD had a lot riding on it, esp for Steeler fans, ha. But I agree, GB/Chi was THE 4:00 game.
