i caught a few minutes of this show last night. i don't know how in the heck this show has any viewers -- much less gaining them!

It didnt gain it got a 1.1 in the final rating just like last week.

Reason being it followed the snl halloween special which did way better than the usual other shows it followed last week & even with that help it still didnt improve week to week.

yes, you are correct about the final report. the preliminary from earlier today showed a 9% gain from last week. should have waited for the final before posting. the good news is my prediction may still be right. biggrin.gif

Whomever has "Back in the Game" as the next show to get the ax, step up and collect your prize:

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.

I enjoyed Back In The Game. The lead actress did seem somewhat removed. Sort of like she is on mescaline. There but not there. I guess she will be not there for good. (after they show last 7 in the can)

I assume she just wasn't psyched about the role.

Sitcoms are easy prey for cancellation. They don't get much investment and are easy to replace in a schedule.

This season is so weak that I'm not surprised so many shows are still around. I don't think the networks have a backup plan for so many failures.

Never fear- There's always classic holiday fill-in's like "battle of the choirs", more "reality" crap, etc.. to bridge the gap till they come up with a (hopefully) permanent replacement.
They also go into an almost two month Dec-Jan hibernation soon with no new content, so there's plenty of time to dredge up some new dreck...
