I am very sad if the show is cancelled. It was one of the favorites of both my wife and myself.

If it helps, it is not officially cancelled yet, just on a list of shows they say most likely to not be renewed.

I rather liked the series finale, assuming it was the series finale. It was great that they mostly focused on John and Dorian because they were the strongest part of the show from beginning to end. As another poster has already mentioned it was nice that the show didn't end with a cliffhanger.

I have to agree.

Dorian got validated and it seems like John has decided he really likes him. Dorian giving him the the very personal gift of a new leg was something only someone who really cares would do.

If it is the end, it ended exactly how a show about cops should end: they answer the next call and go back to work.

Speaking of that scene: that was probably the most Blade Runner-like scene yet, sitting at the on street bar eating noodles. I wonder if it was intentional.

Well we didn't know who the mole on the police was and responsible for Kennex's father death or the other guy later down the road.. they also forgot about the Doctor that made the evil DRN...

All we left at the end is a bromance between the characters, that was so lame..

RIP Mom, we always love you 8/18/13

Absolutely right! Everything about the scene, from the music, to the outdoor diner, to the Asian counterman, was redolent of Blade Runner. I can't imagine that it wasn't intentional.

Kennex did the same in the first episode. That's largely what gave rise to the Blade Runner aesthetic comparisons in the early episodes.

If it gets cancelled, it would be too bad.

This is becoming one of my favorite shows. Like the way they incorporated humor into it. Hope they renew it. Want to see what happened to the evil scientist too.

.. Nothing to do with how good or bad this show is ...,
But I'm starting to notice that many of these "Made In Canada" shows have a sort of a "dreary" grey / overcast washed out "look" to them ... Like the lighting is somehow "off" or filtered...
This show, along with Bitten, Continuum & others all have this "look" ....

It's possible they all use the same post house. Just guessing, since I haven't bothered to look it up.

It might be like having to go to "The Forge" for certain work across the pond. There might not be anyone else for certain tasks unless they want to come to the US.

.. Others know what I meant, It's not just specific daytime outdoor scenes ... The entire show(s) have this "dull grey" washed out effect .... & there have been many Canada based shows ( Warehouse 13 & others), that do not exibit this 'effect ...

I do know what you mean, I've noticed it as well. It's hard to tell from this show though as so much of it is green-screened indoors, there's very little real outdoor shots.

I think that look has been around for Canadian productions for as long as I can remember. I believe even back as far as Toronto based "Forever Knight" that was the look.

Maybe they figure people in Canada are so used to things being overcast that they might not be able to handle bright colors. Seizure epidemics might occur when the color orange is so intense, they start to smell it.

Then again, it seems like anything that takes place in Miami has to seem to occur at sunset and anything in the Midwest has to either be in black and white - or close to it - or tinted brown.

Anything in the future has to be silver or blue.

If there are demons or zombies, it has to be grainy.

In a completely throwaway line in this week's EW, they say they have heard that the show is being "rebooted".

So season two might happen, but differently? Dumping some of the other cast wouldn't make much difference but if the show changes Ealy or Urban then it may as well not come back.

Agreed, in fact they could lose all of the cast as long as they kept the two leads, they and maybe the robotics guy are the best part of the show anyway. No doubt they'll have to have a female presence, but hopefully it won't be Minka Kelly.

That is too bad! I had great hope for the second season. Unbelievable that they would renew the Following and cancel Almost Human, specially with X-Factor not there anymore!

It's a shame as I thought the show was getting better. Sigh. Another dance/sing/reality garbage show will probably replace it.

I think back to other shows that started badly. All in the Family, Seinfeld, X-Files, all would be cancelled now.
