Here is my candidate for worst commercial of the year. I will never go to K-Mart again.

The old S.O.S. scouring pads commercial with the dishes banging out Morse code for SOS was so loud and so annoying that in my pre-VCR/pre-DVR days I would change the channel rather than endure the commercial.

Needless to say, we never purchased any S.O.S. scouring pads.

Here is an example of those atrocious commercials: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrA1TsvAr9g

BoilerJim likes this.

My very humble setup:
Man Cave:Vizio E500i-A1 "Smart TV" (50-in 1080p 120Hz LED/LCD, has Netflix app.), Blu-ray players (Sony BDP-S3100, old LG BD390), Roku (the original model: N1000), PC (Windows 7), Comcast Internet (25Mbps/5Mbps).
Bedroom:LG 32LV3400-UA TV (32-in 768p 60Hz LED/LCD), HD DVR (Motorola RNG200N), Xfinity Comcast cable (Digital Starter Package), DVD/VHS player.

The walking dead usually has good commercials as well as big nfl games. I like the perfect day ps4 spot because it shows no game footage.

I loved Geico Cavemen commercials back in the day, they even made a TV Series out of them, sadly was cancelled (they only featured one of the commercial actors as a secondary character)

Is the PS4 commercial one where the guys are singing and doing videogamie stuff? I got goosebumps when one of them is crashing his car (After the Paul Walker thingy)...

RIP Mom, we always love you 8/18/13

Wow, "back in the day!!!???" The first "caveman" commercial aired in 2004, a big whopping nine years ago. You must really be young to call that "back in the day." smile.gif

This is now officially the coolest commercial airing at the moment in the US. Ed Norton in "48 Hours" for Droid. Cinematic.

We have a Glock manufacturing facility here in Georgia and this may be the commercial that was submitted for the Super Bowl but was not approved by the N.F.L. for air in the Atlanta/Georgia region.

Despite all the so-called cultural "advancements" made in the last few decades, commercials for women are all about how they look. Commercials for men are all about beer and trucks!wink.gif

Because of those looks, those commercials are for both women and men. smile.gif

Men know what beer they like and they know what truck/car they like, so they don't care about commercials. This is why the DVR was invented and why men worship it 24/7. Who needs a god when you have a DVR. wink.gif
