There will be no drive through penalties. Race infractions will be handled according to Sharia Law. The requirement for drivers to use HANS devices will be relaxed to facilitate beheadings.

They could hold a street race down here in south Florida, Miami would be perfect. Easy to get to, and another race in a foreign country!!

Kimi did it for like two years in a row. I can't remember you making note of it then. I'm sure you did though. I was probably out drunk that week.

Well, quali was interesting.

No doubt Lewis's Tin Foil Hat brigade are now fully apoplectic. His comment about this "being beyond bad luck. It is something else" will surely help quell the conspiracy theorists. :-)

And I would have paid real money to see and hear Montezumelo's reaction to Kimi getting bounced from Q2 by a Marussia. Unless he had an unreported issue with the car, I expect his strategist is now perusing other employment opportunities. Shame because Raikonnen was again showing decent pace this weekend.

Vettel showed great form as did Bottas. But again, the Mercs (well, up until one of them self immolated) remain untouchable.

I am guessing that Lewis's people are now arranging meetings with McLaren, Ferrari, and RB. It does not matter if you have the fastest car on the grid if your team is sabotaging it to hand the WC to a fake German. :-)

So let's see, the current rumors and/or my uninformed, fanciful predictions are:

Vettel to Merc for obscene amounts of Kraut-money
Alonso to McLaren/Honda (it can't really suck any worse than the current red car)
Hamilton to Ferrari (the allure of the prancing horse and at least it reliably starts from 6th rather than 20th)
Bianci to Ferrari
Button to Sports Cars
Raikonnen to snowmobiles

That leaves a seat at Red Bull. Not sure who they would take. I can't imagine Button. Maybe Hulkenberg so they can still have a German. Hulk deserves a seat in a potentially good car on a properly funded team.

Its almost like Ferrari did that on purpose to "help" Kimi make a decision to retire after this year. I couldnt believe it, I too really want to hear what they say as to why he was just sitting in the car in the pits.

I haven't been able to see any practice or qualifying. It's been Tour de France or squawk box whatever that is. The race is the only thing that shows on my guide. Plus I think a replay of Q later today. Rotten bastards.

Damn, Lewis can't buy a break. Or is that brake?

I thought Kimi's issue was solely tire choice.

BG,
Your predictions aren't even close. There is no way Alonso goes back to McLaren. Not only did he hate it there, Fern was instrumental in the Stepnaygate. Now that RB is showing better form, I could see him going to RB if Vettel decided to go elsewhere.

On Hamilton, unless this weekend sours his decision he is in negotiations to extend his contract with MB. I guess we will know more by the middle of the week.

As for Button, I still can't figure out why you are so down on him. He outqualified his teammate this weekend and has finished ahead of him in most races. What more do you want?

Thanks. I'm working anyway. As long as I get the race I'm good.

Looks like the HAM conspiracy theorists are finally coming completely unhinged now. Some of the comments out there make me shake my head. If Merc really didn't want him to win, there's a thousand things they could do that don't involve fire or crashed cars. Misadjust a wing or pump the tires over or under and he'd be off by seconds and no one would ever know. It's sad to see the rift widen now from Nationalism into Racism.
