Now a Cows fan, but I agree that Troy is at the very least decent and way better than the retired one.

Troy tries to hard to not be a homer. It does get irritating at times but I understand why he does it.

Looked to me like the Panthers came out woofing and pushing after every play, more than I have seen in a game this season. Steve Smith posing and yelling at the Niners bench after every catch was a bit much. Perhaps their playoff inexperience led them to think that is what they needed to do in the playoffs? Seemed the Niners reacted to that, although Boldin seems to always be that way.

the nfl is loaded with punks and thugs. and their nastiness increases at this time of year cuz they know the personal foul calls are lightened up on during the playoffs.

One less…

On a serious note the officiating is a joke with different 5 yd contact, etc. PI rule interpretation in the playoffs.

Same rules and interpretation all season, all teams. How hard is that?

You don't know Smitty. He does that on every catch he makes, every game. It's just who he is. tongue.gif

But I agree that the Kitties came out a bit too hyped up. It was as though their coaches kept hammering them all week about how tough and physical they needed to be with the 49er's in order to win the game. But proper execution and the channeling of emotion into excelling at that execution is far more important. Hopefully, a lesson learned for next time. Their superb defense will assure them of one. And Cam has to improve in all facets of his game if they're ever going to go deep into the playoffs. He's still very immature in a number of areas.

Don't ever make the MISTAKE of buying a Samsung TV..
They consider THIS
normal on a two month old set..

It's a shame that in the end TCU's playoff chances all came down to this . . .

I thought the punks were the Panthers, guess who got all the unsportsman penalties?

I say the 49ers were smart in not retaliating or getting the first/last shove/punch

RIP Mom, we always love you 8/18/13

blame the idiot refs for letting this game to get away just as it started

first play, panthers steer wrestle and maul Crabtree

easy call unnecessary roughness. ...

nope, no call. Refs message to panthers, hey we can get away with all this trash and brutish behavior

niners take, well, if they're not going to call that, we'll yap up and play the same way

refs spent rest of game making bizarre calls trying to grt thing under control

neflixis our nemesis
