It's a rare movie that gets the whole family (including the dog) in the entertainment room nowadays... but Sharknado 2 did it!
We all left quite satisfied as we encourage critical outbursts, viewer commentary, etc.. during the movie... and there was a lot to go around.

One continuity error was so obvious that it must have been intentional... the group left Liberty Island on a WHITE ferry... mid harbor we see a medium/close shot of a RED ferry making it's way to Manhattan... a few seconds later we once again see the WHITE ferry docking and the group disembarking.
Another funny one was when the group was being chased up the skyscraper staircase by rising water... but outside there was no water on the street surrounding the building...?

Funny stuff.....

I thought the water was filling up in the building from the water tower on top that collapsed? The water had gone down the elevator shafts. Not from flooding in the street.

You may be right... I did get distracted a few times by the heavily buttered popcorn we were passing around... and the dog took my seat on the couch as soon as I got up to wash my hands- so I missed a few min trying to bribe him off the couch too

Yes, but why is that shark boldly defying the laws of physics by flying down the aisle? The flight attendant isn't getting blown backwards by the rush of air from the decompressed cabin. I demand Neil Degrasse Tyson come on and explain this blatant scientific inaccuracy

Physics? Sharks fly and also block the decompression in front of Stewardess with Purple Hair. Commonly known as A Shark Vortex

Did we get the final (or close to it) viewership numbers (I'm thinking live+3 or live+7) which includes the DVR viewing?

With all due respect to you lovers of bad stuff, I tried to watch this stinko and had to give up. Having sharks flying around (or even the head of the SoL) and having to give my the laws of physics the heaveho was not really my problem. Terrible acting. Terrible story. Just awful. Since this movie was supposed to be better than the original Sharknado, I can't imagine how bad that one would be. You can get back to your slobbering over this mess.

It wasn't better at all. The first one takes itself more seriously and isn't interrupted by irrelevant cameos and endorsements every five minutes, which makes it way more funny.

Don't beat yourself up. Your geek cred is solid. You just didn't approach this one with the right mindset. It's supposed to be silly & stupid; that's what made it fun. Mrs. archi & I had a jolly good time watching it, and intend to do the same next summer.

No one's going to revoke your geek card . These types of movies are best enjoyed with a cold beer (plus a shot glass and tequila ) and a total lack of any realistic expectations.

A direct callback to the first sharknado. (Rescuing "Fin's" family from his ex's house.)
