I'll probably have to wait a few days before watching it; first airing is right in the middle of our VBS Week and I'll be swamped that week. (I have been clearing out the DVR for that week.)

The original Sharknado inspired this classic clip (warning: gory)

My very humble setup:
Spoiler!

This should be a lot of fun, especially now that they have a successful template to plan it around. But they have a lot of schlock to live up to. Fortunately, Ian and Tara are back to help with that!

I kind of suspect this is one of those jokes that's funny once, but not funny when you hear it a second time.

I'll skip it (the original was not even good-bad, or "so bad it's good"...it was just BAD) in the hopes that others will as well so that there is never a (shudder) Third One!

There's some classic movies on that list.

They Live was fantastic.

Sharknado was really bad, and almost "so bad it's good" - but not quite. Another fairly recent, really bad, SyFy movie did manage to hit that sweet spot - and also happened to be a shark movie - Super Shark. It even had a theme song.

I happen to enjoy the cinematic masterpieces that Syfy puts out. I am sorry you don't feel the same.

(Actually I love B movies and the cheesier the better )

I love cheesy B movies too. Get some beverages of your choice and let the cheese fest commence.

Not a single comment since airing? That's not a good sign.

I missed setting up the recording so I'll get it on Wednesday, but I'm assuming there's not much to look forward to.

It was okay but I felt that a few of the comedians they had on were trying too hard to be funny or weren't funny at all.

Didn't realize Sunday is a big DVR night for me. Sharkmania had to sit on the bench. Will try and watch before the 'nado 2 hits on Wed.

My DVR has a full schedule on Sunday evenings so the recording will have to wait until Wednesday night. And with VBS running this week, my viewing may be delayed even further, quite possibly into next week.

My very humble setup:
Spoiler!

If it means that we're waiting for the actual movie and have better things to watch than a network's promotional materials, then I'd call that a good thing. It would be sad if there was nothing better to watch on a Sunday than a network blowing its own horn.

I saw a hi-larious promo piece for Shark Week with Rob Lowe riding two sharks, gorgeous damsel hanging on his leg.

I misread that previous post. I just saw "I'll be watching that tonight" and assumed he was referring to the movie.

So I guess my Wednesday recording is the original showing.

Cool, that means I don't have to worry about spoilers.
