Forever on ABC HD

Passable, interesting show, not sure there is enough there for it to survive. To me it feels Castle like, but without the humor. It may pile up on my DVR before I watch or dump. Only plus is Judd Hirsch, always enjoy his work.

I think I would like the premise of this show better if he were older, been around longer. A couple hundred years doesn't seem like it gives as much material to use then say he was around during the middle ages too. Will give it a chance but not sure we will be staying long on this one.

Great cast. I've always liked Ioan Gruffudd, Judd Hirsch, and Alana De La Garza.

I really liked this show when it was called 'New Amsterdam' and starred Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
OggideM and Machuran like this.

When I read Castle like in the first post I was thinking no way, it sounded SYFYish to me and I am not. I watched it this AM and it does feel Castle like and may turn out to be around for some time. It's got an I liked from me.

I'll stick around with this show for a bit ....
Honestly, so far, if you literally described this show to someone who has yet to watch it as, " It's 1/3 Elemntary, 1/3 Sleepy Hollow & 1/3 Castle " .. You'd be right on .....

And now (because this is on ABC and needs a soap element) that show has been combined with Grey's Anatomy to appeal more to women.

Wasn't that train crash essentially the same story as "Unbreakable"?

Jerry. Just remember. Its not a lie . . . if you believe it. GC
