I was told by our local NBC affiliate here in Chicago that New York is having difficulties tonight with the weather and they will not be passing through HD tonight at least for now.

L&O HD in Cincinnati and Dayton (Ed of course, was not HD) ... Nice to see the locals "keeping up" when problems arise.

Ed in HD in San Francisco starting about 8 minutes in.

There is no difference in HDMI cables. If you can see the picture without visible dropouts or sparklies, the cable is working at 100%. No other cable will display a better version of that picture. You're simply wrong if you think there is a better digital cable than one that is already working.

In Philadelphia WCAU-DT showed a black screen with their logo until about 20 minutes into the program. Then showed upconverted SD. This has been a continuing problem with this station.
