"Ice Roadtruckers," History, Season 9

Lots of fast bumpy shots starting the new season Sunday. And there's even a fresh company 'war', with Lisa
Spoiler!

Edit: Title and History's No.9 link scrambled even after multiple edit attempts. Could kill it and start again,,,but you get the idea,

Yes, looks like the Bear didn't make this edit, if he's still soldiering. Recall the Polar boss moaning about the scarcity of drivers. Still, as earlier, nice to 'ride along'. From this show and the 'top dog's' pulley-type escape from being stuck in snow, wonder why they haven't issued cables/pulleys and training to all drivers--maybe even winches. Recall lots of shows with off-the-road drivers waiting extended periods for someone to come along and help pull them out. Clearly not all stuck trucks can be extracted with pulleys. And of course, using GPS tracking and speed recorders, their desk-top computers have carefully plotted the overall efficiency of what looks like crazy ice-road speeds versus truck damage and stuck/crash delays. -- John
