Oh! Thanks for the reminder. I took my 12 year old daughter to Robogames in the Bay Area earlier this year specifically so she could see some of these bots live. But the truth is, like most sports, the TV view is better.

I've seen all the episodes to date and I still like the show. I do frequently FF through the background fluff and zero in on the battles. I'm more of a "cut to the chase" type person and don't care for fluff, except maybe in porn.

Same here, I am recording it so I can FF through the junk. My 2 hour show should be done in 30 min.

The bot with arms and a shield was a major disappointment; it went down like a plastic Transformer toy..

The team controlling the last droid watched their dream literally melt away. It reminded me of Dragonheart. One could say it was the opposite of the fire rescue device known as the Jaws-of-Life.

That fight was a complete made for TV fight. A plastic bot that moves slower than an old lad with a walker? Gee, it went up against a bot with fire, which never win these things and most of the time do zero damage. The only saving grace, it was fun to watch. Just think if the plastic bot went up against a flipped, one flip that that thing was done, a spinner would have also torn it to shreds in one hit.
