"Good Girls Revolt" on Amazon Prime

Not a bad series at all. If you were a fan of "Mad Men" you will really enjoy this one.

I just started watching it over the weekend, I'm liking it pretty well. I do love the soundtrack. Is this an Amazon original?

Watched the first episode the other night, we enjoyed it. Nice start with nudity right at the get go, very cute girl.

Yes, it's a Amazon Original series. Also like the soundtrack, the songs used evoke memories of the time. Three episodes in and still liking it. Wife asked if the series was based on a book, yes it is. There are online interviews with the two writers involved.

The Good Girls Revolt.

Nothing new to see here, but it is mildly entertaining. It seems pretty derivative of the HBO series Vinyl. Only better.
I suppose if you didn't live the 60's and 70's it might seem more interesting.

The trailer didn't do much for me. Just made me want to re-watch Mad Men instead. Derivative definitely seems to be the operative word from how the trailer looked. But now that I hear there are genuine boobies on display, maybe I should reconsider. lol Seriously, I should probably at least check out the pilot to see if I get hooked as I've been disappointed with pretty much every other new show on the broadcast channels I've checked out this fall.

Does anyone recommend Goliath? I'm not much of a legal drama person, partly because it always seems too unrealistic how quickly these cases get before a judge or go to trial. A process that can take 1-2 years often gets condensed to less than a month. Though TBH, it's been quite a while since I tried to watch a TV legal drama. Maybe they've gotten better now.
