Please make all related comments here, thanks.

Be sure to list your source for the broadcast, OTA, cable / provider, etc.

To all viewers that are not getting HDTV:
Call your local NBC station's 24 hour news hot line. Ask to speak to the engineering department. Tell them the rest of the country is watching on NBC in HDTV, and would they please activate the HDTV feed. If you can't directly contact engineering, ask the news room to pass the message along. If there is still no HD after 15-20 minutes, call back. In all cases be polite, as ranting over the phone will not help your cause.

SD what a bummer. Channel was added to my cable on Thursday and last night they broadcast for 3 hours without sound. Started today without sound and switched to the SD feed with sound.

We're in HD here in S.E. Virginia on WAVY. Still seeing slight lipsync problems like we all saw yesterday. Obviously some of the cameras are widescreen SD though....

Go Ricky Rudd #21!!!!

You are correct, the main announcer guy in the blue shirt is not HD, it looks like SD widescreen. They are mixing in HD shots of the stands, though.

Everything is going good here in Huntsville, Al.

I'm not noticing any lip-sync issues.

I like what they're doing with the side bars, better than a solid color.

Currently testing 3D with Sammy DLP, shutter glasses, and HTPC

OTA in Columbus, OH. Looks like crap, but it's in HD.

Do they have all of 2 HD cameras there today? And do the operators know how to focus? Lots of upconvert today.

The Super Bowl looked better on KDKA. (I get 100% signals of both kd and PXI)

Is NBC using different (i.e inferior) HD technology than CBS?

I'm not getting that WOW Factor like I had with the Super Bowl.
