Exactly! While I won't deny there may be some soft filters, it definitely isn't all "fuzzy" and "blurry" as some people are claiming.

That's neither the time nor the place for some actor or actress to use the airwaves to force their political beliefs down our throats. Even if I agree with them, I always think it's in poor taste to try it on Oscar night.

Thumbs up to ABC for not having there watermark logo on the lower right hand corner of the screen. I hate it that they feel they constantly need to have that thing on the screen. It is truly wonderful to watch a show without that distraction.

People stopped watching because it sucked ass. Not because they didnt know the show was on. Now they are no longer watching the shows they liked because you constantly promote other crap.

All this talk of filters -- is this just seat of the pants speculation or does someone have actual knowlege about what the cam operators are using? Are we talking haze filters, polarizers, red, blue, or maybe cheese cloth over the lens.

Getting great audio and HD video in Houston. Definitely better than DVD. Using an XBR800 Sony 40 inch direct view.

Well, either I must be blind or my local affiliate (WAND - Decatur, IL) is doing a good job of retransmission, because on my 65" mits, the PQ is stunning.

is anyone out there watching on a native 1080i that is impressed with the PQ as much as us 720p'ers?

this goes up there with the grammys as the most impressive HDTV broadcast I have seen to date.

native 720P DLP

Verizon FIOS (Norfolk County, MA)

Looks fantastic in West Michigan. 5.1 makes me feel like I'm in the audience. Very crisp and looks perfect. Yes some filtering, but still stunning picture. If you say it's fuzzy then you aren't watching in HD.
