Here's the link to the story.

It's interesting to note that during the one year Don Ohlmeyer was at the helm of Monday Night Football, HDTV went away and was replaced by Dennis Miller. Let's hope that Fred Gaudelli reinstates ABC's HD coverage of MNF.

Haha - what is he gonna do, take a collection in the office,
and purchase a Hi-Def truck? Surely Disney has MORE than enough
money to purchase multiple trucks. Just dont hold your breath.

That was a double whammy: Losing HDTV and getting Miller. I think that I read somewhere that there won't be any changes to the on-air 'talent', if you want to call it that.

That's already one bad decision, so hoping for reinstatement of HDTV may also be wishful thinking.

We can do more than hope this happens by itself......join me in writing to him and ASK for it:
ABC, Inc.
500 S. Buena Vista Street
Burbank CA 91521

A few paper letters to a key decision maker can have a huge impact, it took me 3 minutes to fire off a letter.

My advise to ABC MNF: Dump Miller and invest that saved salary into a HDTV production truck. That will for sure have more impact on the ratings than Millers "Babylon" talk.

If ABC truely considers MNF THE premier NFL game of the week then they should give it the treatment a game of this stature deserves and do it in HD!
