I don't think Bo sucked, but his song selection did. Any Black Crowes song is good because of the band not the singer. Bo did say he was singing Remedy with his band back in the 90's. I'm sure he did. It's a typical bar band song. Forgettable but shouldn't get him voted off.

Jessica. I think the Simon was right about her. By not being "likeable", I think Simon is saying what I have noticed about her. She has a hard look to her. Kind of tough, and not the girl next door look and attitude of Carrie.

Carrie is going to be a huge star, no matter if she wins this competition or not.

Anwar. One trick pony. His days are limited.

All the others are just mediocre. Even the poser Constantine, who reached the top of his game last night and will most likely not get any better.

Scott-Ouch that was terrible. Not one not in tune. Buh-Bye

My top three right now, are Bo Carrie and Jessica/Vonzel.

Can anyone tell me why they don't have the contestants wear ear piece monitors or at least have better stage monitors. I think that is a major cause for some of the performances that were off key. If you watch a live music show like the Grammy's all the performers have ear pieces.

I'm assuming you meant "One Trick Pony".

Earlier I said that Anwar was a "One Note Pony". I was glad to see the judges finally acknowledge that.

My bottom three: Anwar, Scott and Constantine

Who I think goes home: Scott by far, but Anwar should be next

Who is at the top right now: Carrie, Vonzell and Jessica (she underperformed last night, but has great potential)

Scott

Vonzell is a postal delivery person in Ft. Myers, Florida. Don't really think she's hanging with a tough crowd regardless of how they dress. She was great last night and looked awesome.

Anwar should be booted for that mustache alone, never mind his horrible singing.
Also, again this week it appears Paula has been into the sauce.
I am willing to bet that after this season of Idol, Paula checks in to a center.

She could barely speak last night. Last week her eyes looked bad, this week she looked really high. I'm guessing narcotics of some sort. If she makes it though this season I'll be amazed.

My wife and I noticed that about Paula as well. She seemed very "medicated".

She hasn't had the best of luck lately. She pleaded no contest to a hit and run incident recently. If the entertainment "news" sites are to be believed (MSN article), she isn't taking this too well. I hope for her sake (and AI's) that she gets things straighted out soon.

Yep, Typo during editing...

Paula was absolutely Lit last night. She looked horrible in HD. After her little hit and run last night, I am thinking there may be some real trouble brewing with her. Her frequent absences never seem to be explained either.

How messed up do you have to be to hit someone on the freeway and not notice? I think her troubles are a direct result of whatever she's using.

My top three right now, are Bo Carrie and Jessica/Vonzel.
I agree completely with Steve's comments. Carrie in my opinion is the best. She's only had one bad night, and not due to a bad performance, her performance was perfect, it's was just a bad choice of a song (can't remember the song). Bo's (still my second choice) performance lastnight was not that great. The last half of his performance was good, but the first half was to much like an imitation of the Black Crowes lead singer. Nobody else has been as consistant as Carrie or Bo. Followed closely by Jessica and Vonzel. Scotts not bad but somethings lacking(weak) in his performances. Constantine has had a pitch problem to many nights. Actually lastnight was the only night he didn't have a single pitch problem. If I pay to go to a concert/performance I want to see someone with the best odds of a great performance and on key (in pitch).

So, here's my top four in order of preference:
#1. Carrie
#2. Bo
#3. Jessica
#4. Vonzel

The rest have no chance over these four.

Whatever personal problems Paula is going through right now, she is absolutely worthless as a judge of talent. My opinion of her was already low enough, but her praising to the heavens Anwar's nauseating performance was the final straw. She is just a clueless boob, with not a single opinion in her head that she hasn't already heard from Randy. I would love -- lovelovelove -- to see the producers make her give her judgements first. Then let's see what she has to say.

I've heard rumors that Paula's job with Idol is in jeopardy. This is the second week in a row that she has been on something. I agree with everyone that her comments are worthless. I was watching Idol last night on Charter Cable Ch. 781 here in the Reno-Carson City area(I can't get the local Fox HD channel OTA). For the second week in a row, the picture never switched to HD(except for about 5 seconds at the very beginning). I'm wondering if this is a Charter Cable problem or the fault of the local Fox station. Anyone out there in the Reno-Carson City area receive the OTA
broadcast of Idol OK? I'll then know to complain to the cable company.

Was there another incident last night or were you thinking the freeway hit-and run (where they took a pic of her licence plate) was last night? If she did it again, then she has big problems.

Latest line from a popular gambling site - I'll post these every week since it seems like enough people care:

Carrie Underwood - 7-5
Bo Bice - 27-10
Anwar Robinson - 3-1
Nadia Turner - 6-1
Vonzell Solomon - 10-1
Jessica Sierra - 16-1
Nikko Smith - 25-1
Constatine Maroulis - 25-1
Anthony Federov - 30-1
Scott Savol - 30-1

It's been a long time since someone has been as far ahead of the pack as Carrie is. Bo & Anwar are virtually tied for second, but Anwar slipped from 1st to 3rd this week. Nadia seems to be fading as well and Vonzell is really coming on strong.

Paula has appeared drunk or on drugs at times throughout the whole season, including the early auditions. I think she is abusing painkillers. There have been times when she appeared sober and she did not have that watery look to her eyes. Whatever she is taking is making her over emotional. She looks like she is about to cry half the time, and the other half she appears to be in ecstasy and tries to make out with Simon.

Paula has appeared to be on something for the past couple of seasons. She constantly slurs her words. I keep expecting her to slur "Do you like my body?" whenever she claps her hands.

I admit I was amazed that after the initial rounds, a woman looks more likely to win than a man. Carrie has been great lately. I would have bet anythign that the final 3 this year would have been an all male affair going into the final 12. Somehow, somewhere, most of the guys have lost it.

As for Constantine... I can't stand him personally. He's a panderer and a sell-out. But I'll give him his due, he's smart. He realized early on that Bo had him beat on the rocker angle, and he knows his audience is a bunch of pre-teen girls who love his eyes. So he plays right to them. While I think he would make a terrible Idol, he very well could win because he has solidified his voting block early.

Someday maybe I'll actually WATCH my projector...

Did anyone else notice Matt Rogers in the front row? As a former top 10 Idol, I'm surprised they didn't at least have Ryan say hi to him on camera.

If you look there are usually 2 or 3 past top 10's sitting in the crowd near the front. I'll bet they get introduced off camera during commercials or something.

The odds are different but the order is actually pretty close between the two. A little fuzzy here and there but the exact same top 5 and only slightly mixed up longshot bottom 5.

My wife are convinced that Paula is on something, pain killers etc.
What tottaly bugs me about Paula, is not her " everybody is amazing",
that is bad enough, but screaming at Simon everytime he gives his
opinion. What the hell is wrong with this woman? What the hell does
she think this is, build your self worth hour? Paula, shut the F up.
Your pathetic insipid view are enough. If Simon weren't on that show,
it would wither. Someone above said let her go first. I know what
you mean, but I don't think she would be anything different, except
more nervous.

BTW, I miss Makela because I disliked her more than I like anyone
of the performers. Man, she was one irritating biaaach.

I really enjoy Simon's criticisms. He's articulate, funny, and usually pretty much on the mark.

Randy basically just gives a thumbs up/thumbs down, and Paula is totally vacuous and insipid. So I hate it when she steps on Simon's lines just about every time.

This might have been suggested before, but there could be a "Hi Bob" drinking game here - every time she says "I'm proud of you" you hit the bottle.
