That table scene reminded me of the pot circle in 'That 70's Show'. Those were some of the funniest moments in that series.

So what exactly was Nancy's advantage over Capt. Tillman? Something to do with her the DEA husband, but I didn't quite get it.

Her "husband" was quite dirty, and Tillman knows it; heck, he might even have been in on it. The DEA has a vested interest in not letting those facts become known. Got their reputation to protect. So, in essence, Nancy is blackmailing him to leave her alone. She also knows, and told him, that all his physical evidence went up in smoke with her house, so he'd have a tough case to prove in any event.

OK. I thought there was some specific event I had forgotten about that Nancy might have been alluding to.

Yeah, Nancy understands that the last thing Till would want would be for the misconduct of her now dead sort-of husband, Peter Scotson, to become public. After all, the crookedness apparently all went down under Till's command. Indeed, Till may have been complicit. It seems to me, though, that the best thing Nancy has going for her is that she appears to be a bunch smarter than Till.

I want those "marzipan pigs" (it's actually spelled "mazapan", since they are from Mexico), if you don't know what that is is just basically pulverized peanuts with sugar and compressed again to form, yes, pigs...

Hey didn't that tunnel was way too shot to get from store to store (in different countries)?, it should be at least a mile long. I guess they really didn't show how long exactly is..

Maybe so, but Im sure he could nab her while running drugs for new boss or operating a tunnel for drug transport.

Doesn't matter. The "deterrent" to him investigating her further is her knowledge of Peter's illegal activities. He nabs her, for anything, and she sings like a canary. That's plenty of incentive to leave her alone.

That said, I don't think we've seen the last of Captain Till... he still wants Gomez. Bad.

This week's episode was the first great one of the season. It appears that they're back and headed in the right direction. I was a big critic of the first three episodes this season, and I'm happy with the new direction.

Looking forward to next week's ep...

Marzipan is sugar and ground almonds. If Mexicans are using peanuts, they are making a different confection.

Good episode. Silas is one lucky kid with the serious MILF action going on! Who plays that woman? She is super hot!
I really do enjoy this show, but it is a totally different show at this point than what we started out with. As much as I am enjoying this season, I do still miss the original feel of the show when it premiered, the themes and such.

Doesn't she play Jack Shepard's wife (er, ex-wife) on LOST? Not a big part; last year she got about 30 seconds of screen time.

You tweaked my interests, since I rarely look past the main credit page on IMDB, so I went back to see where you found that fact. Unfortunate, I guess, that she has a pacemaker, but I never would have discovered that. The turtle info derailed me. Sounds like something Larry David would put on a resume for one of his characters.

Whoa, kinky and weird episode! That very final scene with Shane was as weird as they come, LOL. From Silas and his Mrs. Robinson, the spanking, and DEA agents, etc, this episode was out there!

I have to hand it this show, there really is an arc in character development here. Nancy is much more aggressive and even a little cold hearted compared to a year ago. The look on Guillermo's face as he unloaded the 'product' to her was priceless--'sorry, it's just business'

Good episode. Yeah, you could tell Guillermo was mad. She went over his head! Gosh Silas is so lucky to get with Mrs. Robinson. She's hot, and naughty. It was nice seeing old cast. Lupita, Sanjay & Marvin.

Yeah, they turned the weird dial all the way up.

So I guess Shane has his own interpretation of the slang MILF-- a little too close to home, as opposed to his brother Silas, who has the more traditional approach to the expression.

The filmmakers have an unusual way of portraying law enforcement. Over the years they show them as corrupt, inept, killed them off, and now, they have them switching teams, in mid season.

I love this show, not least because it is so shameless. If it has shock value, you will see it on Weeds. Let the good times roll!
