Ignacio is not new. He was in several episodes last season. He was introduced as a guard with a gun at the entrance to the tunnel in the back of the maternity shop. He is a funny character. His banter last night pleading with Nancy to kill Roy Till because Till's a killer and Ignacio is not was hilarious. He finished by telling Nancy that if she saved Ignacio, he would kill Roy Till for her. That was very funny dialog.

Your observation that we didn't actually see DEA Captain Roy Till get killed last night is keen. I'm skeptical that he's dead. He could return and kill Esteban yet for all we know.

Last night I loved it when Ignacio tased Andy and then held up the taser. "I call him 'Mr. Zappy.'"

I don't think the pregnancy plot will go out soon, it's Nancy get-out-of-a-coffin card, or more out of a landfill. Now confirming that the baby's Esteban's and male..

I LOL at the chinese woman, funny stuff..

Poor Shane, he's in big trouble... Shane revenge time?

In the immortal words of Bones McCoy - He's dead Jim. They made it very clear that revenge was all Till was living for, which was code for letting us know he wasn't going to survive. We didn't see the deed actually done because this show doesn't roll that way, so to speak. It's a comedy, albeit a dark one; no need to see the grisly details. They did the same thing with Nancy's DEA boyfriend a couple of season's back. And yep, he was dead too.

The body count is piling up around Nancy.

The scene with the two guys handcuffed to bed was hilarious. And the Chinese lady, too. I'm still extremely pleased with Weeds. Previews look good.

Well, as long as you don't count the grinder or U-Turn episodes (just of the top of my head.)

Exactly. I don't agree with Skipdrive at all. My first thought was "He must not have seen the grinder on the face of Till's partner. It was pretty gruesome. Yeah, and we definitely saw Marvin murder U-turn. We've seen Nancy hold a knife to Celia's throat and a put a gun in Celia's mouth.

Not only did they not show Till getting killed, but they also didn't show his dead body (in marked contrast to showing Peter's corpse in the stream). The show does in fact roll like that.

The takeaway is that it is not clear that Till is in fact dead. He might be; he might not. We simply do not know. To me, the lack of a death scene or a glimpse of Till's dead body was way too conspicuous given the show's proclivities.

Skipdrive says, "He's dead, Jim." I say, "Not so fast."

I didn't start watching this show yesterday.

Furthermore, we haven't seen Sucio dead. He could be next week's "dead Mexican" Celia is talking about. Then again, he could still be alive.

Celia's ex and youngest daughter did add a lot to the show, but it seems the plot line now doesn't leave much room for them. But who knows what may happen?...

This season has been pretty good so far. I was skeptical at first, but the show has finally gone back to finding the humor in these dark situations. It used to excel at that, but the past season or so it seems like it has been all darkness and no humor.

I really enjoy this show, but tonight's episode, Nancy leaving Andy and Ren Mar just doesn't seem right. I guess given her options she thinks she is making the right choice, I just find it odd is all.

I agree but, as others have said, the show seems to have taken a much darker turn this season and one that is not really that entertaining at times. Justin Kirk continues to shine but the rest of the excellent cast is not being used to maximum advantage anymore.

I enjoyed this week's episode. Celia's discovery of "Dead Mexican!" and Andy's weird assignation with the bank lady, his dead brother's former flame, in order to get his brother's money from a bank account were particularly funny.

I sort of understand why the writers decided to have Nancy move in with her Mexican drug lord lover instead of having an abortion and running away with Andy. There probably is a lot more comedy gold to be mined from the family moving in with the drug lord than would have been the case if they had simply run away.

She seems very warm and comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Her acting is natural and not at all wooden. If I didn't know she is primarily a singer/songwriter, I would have assumed she is a veteran actor with dozens of roles spanning many years on her resume.

I'm impressed.

The story with Andy's new "girlfriend" is funny. The sex in the homeless area was just great. I'm not too sure about Nancy leaving Andy. My guess, they will live back together later on. We haven't seen Celia's daughter, Megan in a while.

Oh, that's right.
So, Megan the deaf girl, was just a school student that dated Silas in season 1/2?
Never mind, I guess that's it.

Last night I just noticed a new episode from Monday night. I guess I was assuming there wouldn't be one like the Sunday shows. Good episode. Nice to see Celia's young daughter pop in again.

Interesting jump, I wondered how they were going to handle that. More twists, Nancy seemed almost content for once.

Is like they read my mind... LOL nice to see her again..

OK Nancy moved in with Esteban, I suppose that was the House in the US? or in Mexico? (he mentioned that he had a House in the US).

Judging on the House Style I say is in Mexico...

The writing in Weeds continues to be inspired. I loved the 6 month jump in the time line to account for Nancy's advancing pregnancy and the mystery woman who read out Esteban at the end of the episode was intriguing, too. A lot of shows go flat after awhile, perhaps most of them, but Weeds has not lost a step yet, it seems to me.

That's the first question. The second one is---It is unbelievable, (since this is the second time this has come up here) is there anyone here, on this AVS thread, that watches this show and speaks Spanish? What was she saying? Is that his sister? His wife?
