Another entirely watchable episode last night. The swearing and bleeping was dumb though. Didn't make any sense considering they don't swear in previous episodes. Small complaint though, otherwise good show.

I agree and disagree on the swearing. Dean just seems like he would definitely be a big-time swearer, but of course, it's a network show.

Currently testing 3D with Sammy DLP, shutter glasses, and HTPC

Guys, I just couldn't do this epsidoe. I deleted it half way through. It just bored me. Was there any new information in the second half or the end that I should know about for future episodes?

The show was still very well done in season 1 - it just really came into its own as they approached season 2. Basicly, a good show became a great show.

i completely agree. the two seasons are very different in tone and even different visually. i thought the first had a very muted, almost washed out look (for efffect) while the second was more straight up with the color and detail. good show. works well after smallville.

LOVE the swearing and beeping. Good nod to the realities of the boys (being on a reality show and all). CRACKED ME UP...which was the point. It wouldn't work on every show, but the format allowed them to loosen it up a bit.

I'm no expert....so your mileage may vary

I was not a huge fan of this episode. It did get better halfway through so Will you should have stuck it out.

Wasn't this the first post writer's strike episode? It seemed to me the writers were poking fun at the use of reality shows during the strike.

Holy crap! I guess if they can show open heart surgery on medical channels, they can do it on this show, too.

Crikey. That was one gruesome (yet awesome) episode. The heart removal was graphic, but it was the (almost) eye removal with the melonballer that had me squeaming.

You got what you deserved, Bela. You hot little minx.

Ahh, we didn't see her die, did we? Even if she is in hell, she'll probably find a way to come back now and then.

What are the ratings like for this show? I hope it sticks around for another season at least, but I can't see it being a real long running show.

not a guilty pleasure..this show is legit -- as good as anything else out there.

after watching the previews for this week's episode (at the end of last week's ep), I thought it was filler, but man I was wrong.

I love how they worked in the immortality angle as a solution for Dean....

by the way, supernatural has a full 22 episode order for next season. This show will be around for a while - don't worry. CW doesn't have anything else. Smallville is done after next season and the show (Gossip Girl) that they were counting on this year bombed.

This is one of the best shows out there right now.
It's a "hurry up & get the kids to bed" night of entertainment. I've actually found
myself not worrying if I miss "Smallville", but it's downright dissappointing to miss
and episode of Supernatural.

Any speculations on how Dean is going to get out of his deal?

Interesting, but, it does seem their nemeses never last more than a season. But, I did like the progression of the character. At some points there was some sympathy with her character, but, at the end...though Lillith as the 'holder' of the contract was a bit too pat. Then again why did she want Sam dead? He may have a real chance of getting Dean out? But, speaking of doomed women, where is Ruby?

Yes, because I don't think we'd see this on one of the "big three", and maybe not even on Fox. It's not gonna win any awards, so HBO and SHO wouldn't bother with it.

I watched it earlier today and that was a very satisfying episode. I love the way the story split when Dean and Sam went on their separate ways, really made it a much more intriguing chapter. Can't wait until the finale.

I really wish they would release all these on Blu-ray. It is one of the few TV series I would pony up the cash and buy all the seasons without even thinking twice about it.

To the guy saying this show is crap, well everyone in entitled to their opinion. There is also another saying that goes: opinions are like . . . well you know, everyone's got one My opinion: truly a great show despite what channel it is on and all those other preconceived notions.

I dropped off Smallville all together early this season because it was getting so boring to me. I was a huge fan of that show too, starting on Season 2. I have like the last 5 episodes on my DVR unwatched and I know some were even auto deleted because I had completely thrown in the towel and lost all interest in the story. I may try to jump back in and see if they can somehow rekindle that spark we once had.

I agree. BluRay these episodes! I love this show, but stopped watching it due to my local CW affiliate's maddening sync issues, followed by maddening audio dropouts, followed by maddening video dropouts over the last year or so.

I'd snap up BluRay season box sets of this show in a heartbeat.

I was one of the guys who used the word "crap" to describe this show, but I also stated that it is still my favorite "can't miss" show. USA TODAY this morning says it is coming back next year, although the official announcement may be a day or two away.

Dumbass Sam chatting up Lillith/Ruby instead of immediately plunging the knife in her chest. What was he thinking?

With Bela and Ruby gone, we're going to need some new eye candy next year.

Sam's got some problems.

Well a bit underwhelmed by the season finale. Started off good loved the trick to get the knife from Ruby. Holy water sprinklers quite creative. The final confrontation with Lilith was pretty lame. We got nothing about her history/motivation and the whole Sam repels Lilith lightning ball was...empty/confusing with zero resolution. This season I thought the individual episodes (ie Ghostchasers) were much better than the incorporation of the overall global plotlines.

That Hell scene looked like something straight out of "Hellraiser".

Oh gosh I felt it was very cliched and trite. Shoulda just stopped at showing Dean lying dead on the floor.

We don't know Bella is gone and I kind of doubt we have seen the last of her. Even Ruby could return in some attractive new package. Season Finale was not GREAT but was not that bad either. Still love the show and can't wait until next season. Bring on the Blu-ray!

As an only an occasional viewer, I found the season ender kind of a let down. I was really expecting something big, maybe over the op but this was pretty low key.

I know what I'd like to see happen. I wanted Demon Dean, at least for 3 or 4 episodes. Then find some way to revive/ reform him. Would lead to all kinds of plot lines and jokes.

I've been a loyal viewer from the beginning. Did I miss why the demons find sam so "special"? Are they afraid of Sam, or is he destined to turn to the "dark side"? Isn't there something about Dean will have to kill Sam?

If Lillith wants Sam dead, why did she let Dean save him? Perhaps I am thinking too much.
