Is "Supernatural" broadcast in 5.1 on the HD channel? On WBNX/Cleveland I don't get anything out of the rears, but the channel comes through in 3/2.1. Is this local(which I think it is) or network?

I guess I am in the minority here. I thought it was the worse episode of the season. I was extremely bored throughout the whole thing.

Great episode. It's always great when they throw out one of those fun ones now and then.

I didn't think they could top last week, but Dean screaming like a little girl when the cat jumped out----priceless!

I was a little disappointed at first - it didn't top last week in my book, but it had its moments (Agents Tyler and Perry). I wonder how many takes it took to get the song right .

definitely a change of pace episode tonight, but Dean saw the demon eyes in Sam at the very end there....hmmmm.

Nice job with eye of the tiger...I'm glad they're playing some of these outtakes on tv. Would definitely welcome more of them after the credits :-p

Eye of Tiger.
Eeeghhhieeeeeeeeeeee! That was scary.
Killer Yorkie.
Dean "GameCocks?" Sam "No. Corn Yankers."

Great episode. My wife made me play the out-take vid 3 times & we had to do multiple freeze frames of Dean's fright face. Love this show.

I'm continually amazed at how tight the writing is on this show and how well acted it is. I enjoy it week in and week out. I thought Jensen pulled off playing scared fairly well. I loved Eye of the Tiger at the end.

Agreed....and it wasn't even the funny/scared times (like with the killer dog).

I thought the subtle side-glances and an occasional understated furrowed brow were extremely convincing. To me, that's a mark of a true actor...one who can communicate an emotion without screaming, "hey, I am communicating an emotion".

"Am I haunted?...Am I haunted?!"

"I think we've found the biggest clue ever...You!"
"I don't wanna be a clue..."

"We hunt monsters! What the Hell...?!"

During that end credit sequence out take, Jensen looked like a young David Hasselhoff during some of the closeups while he was singing. I wonder if he's as huge in Germany....

Single best Supernatural episode ever. I lost it when they opened the cabinet and Dean screamed at the cat. And then later when the camera cuts to him and he was running out of the building. Fantastic episode. I loved the end with the actor playing Dean doing the whole lip sync to Eye of the Tiger.

This season of the show is freaking fantastic. Can't believe how drastically they turned this thing around.

I have been disappointed with the shift to light comedy this season. Sam playing Martin straight guy to Dean's Lewis is not what I was expecting this season. I thought the season started off great with the war between the angels and demons plot being introduced. Here's hoping they get back on track.

I've really enjoyed it. The first season was full of episodes like this, and part what made this show so appealing to me was the mix of humor and fear. It's nice to see them going back to that.

WHAT! You're getting the CW in HD on Dish! It's not fair! What market are you in? We don't have that in HD on Dish in Mid-Michigan.

Dish used to only provide a maximum of 4 HD locals, so the only way people got the CW is if they didn't have ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox. Now they're apparently adding the CW to some markets that already have 4 HD locals for no apparent reason. They shouldn't have done that unless they're willing and able to add it to all of them.

Uh, why not?

D* did the same thing. We have the CW in HD while other markets they offer HD locals in don't get it. Heck, Comcast offers plenty of stations in some markets that have little hope of being added to other markets any time soon.

When it comes to the business of attracting customers, equality doesn't factor in.

Well it should.

You seem to think that corporations should have a right to abuse consumers. Corporations are a legal fiction. The Constitution of this country grants rights to people, not corporations.

So which legal document says that all corporations must provide everything everybody wants to whoever wants it?

I never said that at all.

However, how does it hurt any other market to add the CW in HD in LA? It's not like they're taking a station away from those other markets. LA is a big place with a lot of viewers that meet the demographics of that channel. Not only that, it's a full power channel of its own there, not a subchannel like it is in some markets.

There's no abuse - just some people getting something a little ahead of others. Call it preferential treatment if you want, but no one is being "abused".

Another great episode. Uriel is one scary entity. Something really bad is going to happen at the end of this season.

There are 66 seals, right? And two have been opened? Does that mean that this story will continue for the next 5 years or so?

^ Well, maybe they could have a "2 for 1" special or something like that where multiple seals are broken at once.

My guess would be that the season ender will have "you know who" released and the angels have to take matters into their own hands with Sam and Dean caught in the middle.

They haven't said exactly how many have been opened ... there are multiple "fronts." Some have been won, others lost.

THey are NOT going to make Sam completely evil are they ? Gosh I hope not . I do not mind if TPTB show Sam 's demonic side since it was established about his powers/gifts but to have him be all evil and for it to end up being Sam vs Dean after all would be disappointing since I 'd rather watch Sam trying to fight his demonic side and untimately Sam and Dean working together not against one another .
