OMG are we still going through this?? (head brick wall) :(

It wasn't an issue due to HDNet. HDNet is not the one that considers the coyotes local to you, the NHL does. for all coyote games being regionally offered on FSN Arizona, you will only be able to watch them on FSN Arizona. I said it the whole time last night and Ken confirmed that this morning. Go to the D* website I linked again and you'll see that your zip code is in the home market for the coyotes....

I swear this is my last reply on this matter, for now on I just gotta let your ignorance slide ;) :)

I am gonna be ticked if the Wild/Kings game is blacked out for me Sunday on HDPPV channel 9467 on Dish, I am in the Wild territory and I live like 6 hours from Minneapolis closer to Illinois.

Well with the MLB HD games Dish only gave the game to MLB EI folks. The blacked out the game from both markets (including the market that the feed originated from) They don't seem to be able to do what D* does and show to both CI and the local RSN makret, really sad :(

Well, I live 40 miles from the Illinois border and I am blacked out of the Wild/Kings game on both CI and HDPPV channel 9467 on Dish this Sunday night. What is this? Frickin MLB? I am writing a letter to the NHL. This is B.S. I do know that I am already in the Wild territory.

Why does Wisconsin have to be in the Wild territory, we hate Minnesota!

I think you're better off being in Wild territory than Blackhawks territory. At least you can get the Wild's home games on television (albeit without HD).

Can someone please confirm for me what you've seen from CI in HD with D* so far? Clearly the openning night game was HD, but have you been getting a few games / night on those channels? The D* guide on the web has nothing on them for the next week. Would really appreciate an answer. Thanks guys.

I've watched all three nights so far. Opening night, channel 95 showed Carolina/Tampa Bay in HD. Thursday, channel 95 showed the Phoenix/LA Kings game in HD. Friday, there was nothing in HD. I checked both the program guide as well as tuning to the actual stations to check (94-96).

My guide shows the Red Wings/ LA Kings game game scheduled for channel 95 on 10/13. It looks like that's the next game in HD for CI subs.

Hopefully D* will add a collum for their HD games like they did with the MLB EI schedule, cause they are deffinetly offering HD games and so far they are 2 HD games ahead of E*, looks like D* continues to be the better outlet for HD games...

No HD on CI Sat. night...some "preview"!!! I love hockey but the NHL's powers that be are freakin' morons!!!! At this point the only way I can get my locals in HD in NYC area is on cable. Thanks D*TV!!!!

LOL funny you say that, I AM IN THE BLACKHAWKS HOME TERRITORY TOO! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! But I am not blacked out of Hawks home games, I live 150+ miles away. Wild games are only blacked out on CI if FSN-North has the game, not if they are on OTA.

It looks like Bell Expressvu is the best outlet for HD hockey. They have scheduled the following games on CI in HDTV:

Oct. 8th Boston - Pitt 7:30
Oct. 8th Minn - Phoe 10:00
Oct. 10th Calgary - Colorado 9:00
Oct. 12th Nash - Colorado 9:00
Oct. 13th Detroit - L.A. 10:30
Oct. 14th Colorado - Chicago 9:00
Oct. 19th L.A. - Colorado 9:00
Oct. 25th Edm - Colorado 9:30
Oct. 25th St.L. - Phoe 10:00
Oct. 25th Anaheim - L.A. 10:30
Oct. 26th San Jose - Dallas 8:30
Oct. 27th Van - Colorado 9:00
Oct. 28th Wash - TB 7:30
Oct. 29th Carolina - Pitt 7:30
Oct. 29th Van - Colorado 10:00

I realize D* is bandwidth starved, but couldn't they at least pick up one of these games each night...

It looks like sports fans have difficult choices to make. For instance, here in Colorado, Altitude sports is carrying most (maybe all) of the Avalanche home games in HD. Do I give up D* (and my HDTivo) and get Comcast so I can see those games? If I knew D* was going to show at least some of them, I would choose to stay. But as far as HD sports go, it looks like cable has a huge advantage over satellite right now.

Well, I live in NW Iowa, and I am in Wild, Blues, and Blackhawks territory via FSN North, FSN Midwest, and Comcast Chicago but none of those games are blacked out for me on the CI package, and usually they are the same feeds.

BTW, its just to show you how much better Minnesota sports are compared to Wisconsin :D

In case you didn't know, I am a Colorado Avalanche fan!
