Was watching Smallville today from 3-4, and after the show ended there was a filler from a Cure concert.

I was just wondering if the rest of this concert will ever played on HDNet?

The Cure is one of my alltime favorite bands and would love to see a concert from them in HD.

Thanks

This footage was taken from the Hi-Def source of “The Cure – Trilogy†a 2002 concert film shot in Paris over 3 nights featuring a complete cycle of performances of 3 of the Cure’s most seminal albums: Pornography, Disintegration, and Bloodflowers performed live and in their entirety. This concert film was shot in Hi-Def and mixed in 5.1 and has not, to my knowledge been shown in it’s entirety on HD-Net. I believe a portion of the film is/was sometimes shown on InHD, but I don’t believe it was shown in its entire 2 hour plus length.

The good news is it is available on DVD: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...s=dvd&v=glance

While it may not technically be HiDef, the digital direct transfer from the HD source is amazing, the 5.1 audio is as good as it gets and there are some great extras including additional performances and documentaries. If I could own only one Cure item (CD, DVD, whatever), this would be it, no question. This is certainly my favorite music DVD in my collection, and may be my favorite DVD, period.

Cheers,
Josh

I recently watched a DVD a friend of mine bought that was a compilation of their videos, and on the most recent videos, wow, I was really kind of shocked at Robert Smith. He looked like a shell of his former self. What has happened to him? They even had to bring in a chick to spice up the video it was so bad. That being said, I'll always be a fan of The Cure.
