I disagree. I like Chris and all, but hooking up with an established band gives him an instant stage. I don't think he's going to do as well on his own.

Someday maybe I'll actually WATCH my projector...

I don't think Chris wants an instant stage. He'd be a flash in the pan. He'd be Fuel's lead singer for an album or two as they decrease in popularity, then he would be nothing at all.

He's a musician and he wants a real career.

An instant stage may not be a great idea considering he'll be touring with AI for about a year. He's probably much better off completing his AI commitment prior to establishing himself as a credible rocker. Promoting a Fuel appearance, while AI is promoting your duet with Chicken Little might not sit well. ;)

Hmmm...Greatest Hits??? I'm a big fan of the rock genre and I couldn't name one Fuel song. I think you have to have "A" hit before you can have a greatest hits album.

Good move Chris. Why join a sinking ship??

The locals feel the same way.

Chris had his "welcome homecoming" Saturday. He and his band Absent Element played a charity concert and even though the other guys in Absent Element are pretty good, everyone I talked to there (yeah, I was there) commented on how much better Chris (he even played the guitar) was than the other guys. It would appear that most local people feel that he will either form another band or go solo even though he said Saturday, solo wasn't something he was looking for, but he didn't rule it out, elusive in his comments. My guess is he has something lined up but can't talk about it until after the AI Summer Tour.

And it was nice to see what you saw on TV is what he did in concert. He did Wanted: Dead or Alive as the first song and it was done like he did it on the show, just better. They did a couple other covers and some of the bands original songs. He closed the show with an original by himself on guitar called "Home." It was a slow song talking about missing the people he loved and how he wanted to be back. Not a bad song, but whether it would crack the Top 100, I don't know.

Here is picture I took Saturday at the show. Enjoy.

Nah, I wouldn't go that far. Maybe your just a bigger Fuel fan. That being said, my taste does lean more toward the Metal side of the rock spectrum. I would guess, though, a poll of "Joe Average Rock Listener" would show you that some would be able to come up with Hemhorrage and most wouldn't be able to name any Fuel songs at all.

Chris should stick with his band, since they stuck with him, unlike the previous year with Constantine. They need a really good producer, a manager, a studio, and some sound guys, but they're already on their way. The songs that I listened to on the website were very good. Plus, it's a bunch of guys that already know each others' strengths and weaknesses, schedules, and tendencies. That, and it gives them more artistic freedom than signing with someone like Clive.

Here's a possible reason Kat's dad was always crying:

Well if she plans on using her looks to sell albums then she does need to lose some weight. She can always just use the tried and true method of eating smaller meals 6 times per day and getting plenty of exercise. That works too.

Also, the posters in this thread weren't the only ones who considered her large by entertainment industry standards. There was even speculation that she was pregnant during the first few weeks of the show.

Kat has a very attractive face, but if she plans on leveraging her looks to bolster her singing career then she is going to have to get her weight situation under control physically and emotionally.

I agree with that, but also agree with people saying that she may sell more albums if she can keep the weight off. The good news is, she can now afford a personal trainer to help her, instead of doing her little thing in the bathroom after eating every time. She can be much healthier than ever if she can stick with that. Best wishes and more power to her.

I'm not sure what kind of crazy screwed up scale some people use but Kat was never even approaching fat or chunky during the whole AI season. It was her wacky clothing styles that led to the pregnant rumors. In jeans and a shirt she looks about as thin as Pickler.

Just more proof that Kat's voice makes people gag. ;)

"The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that between 1.1 percent and 4.2 percent of females in the U.S. -- or 1.5 million to 6 million -- suffer from bulimia nervosa in their lifetime."

Pretty broad guess. Maybe 4.5 million only dry heave? What's up with that?
