Looks like there have been a slew of video clips of Jane Krakowski posted on YouTube. There are clips of her Tony winning performance in Nine and her Olivier winning performance in the West End production of Guys and Dolls in 2006. The one to really watch is the clip from Ally McBeal. This was the show in which Jane's character auditions for the role of Cassie in the Boston production of A Chorus Line. She does the showstopper "The Music and the Mirror" and is spectacular. She doesn't do the original full choreography but moves beautifully and man can she belt out a song. It's great stuff and shows how talented Jane is.

Yeah, Krakowski is a big time musical theater performer. In addition to her Tony win for the revival of Nine, Krakowski was nominated for another, in 1990, for Grand Hotel.

good show last night.

great writing as always.

i watch parks and rec, then the office, and then 30 rock.

while parks and rec is marginal, and the office is usually pretty good,
30 is the funniest show on tv.

I really liked the gibbon. And once again the picture was a little flat. Maybe shooting under low light situations?

the last 10 or so episodes have been great, the best stretch of any episodes in the last 2 seasons.

That was great. Alan Alda can still deliver a comic line with impeccable timing and the look on Alec's face during the hug was priceless.

Funniest episode of the season tonight. The kidney song was hilarious. Also, the doctor scenes were extremely funny. Opposite! Opposite! Opposite!

For me, the absolute best part of the finale was Alan Alda, upon seeing Tracy crying, saying, "Crying over a chicken and a baby? I thought this was supposed to be a comedy?" M*A*S*H fans need no explanation about the reference and I had to pause the DVR a good couple minutes to recompose myself. Great finale. I hope Alda is back next season. He and Jack work great together.

For some reason I thought it was really really funny when Jenna took off her earrings because she thought she was about to get into a brawl with her half-sister again. Guys never do that before fist fights!

NOW: my post on AVS Forum.

Some of the funniest lines in this show are when ultra liberal Alec Baldwin makes ultra conservative comments as Jack Donaghy, for just that reason.

excellent, well written show. this is why it is the best comedy on the air.

so many great lines, the half sister stuff, rainstorm katrina, opposite opposite opposite, and jack blackmailing the stars to perform the kidney benefit concert.

hilarious. love it.

Geez. My DVR is overloaded on Mondays and Thursdays. Can't some of these networks spread these shows out? I got next to nothing on Tues, Weds, and Fri!

For me its totally loaded on Thu and Fri, with a few on Mon and Tue.
Wed is totally open - they need to move some of the Thu shows to Wed!

This show is so funny and so good, that if it were on ABC it would have been canceled by now.

Funny, funny show and great first episode of this season; kudos to Tina Fey; the writer of last night's episode.
