Can you name an episode [of Police Squad!]? I've seen all six episodes several times and these were very tightly written. I hope you aren't thinking of "Naked Gun", the movie based on the show (filmmakers?).

Short of watching them all over again, not really, though I believe the last several were the ones I thought dragged. And I thought the Naked Gun movies were actually pretty funny, though all of them wore out their welcome well before the film was over.

When Drebin and company were funny they were really funny, don't get me wrong.

I've heard of this show, but never bothered to watch it. So during my Christmas vacation I decided to watch some shows on Netflix.

Luckily I saw 30 Rock first, and I have fallen in love. I watched all 3 seasons in one week. What a great show. I love the Jack Donaghy character. I just can't believe this show has been on air since 2006? Thank you Netflix! Even though I'm late to the party.

The Comcast storyline should be very interesting.

Netflix Instant-view is how I've turned a lot of family and friends onto the best show on TV. Doesn't hurt that they deliver 30 Rock in HD.

I rewatched the first two seasons on Netflix and enjoyed them as much, if not more than the first time thru. Absolutely brilliant writing and excellent delivery by the cast.

filtor -- As fond as I am of this series, I have never seen Season 1. Now that I have learned it is available in HD on Netflix streaming, I will be watching it soon. I watch every episode now but didn't start until a couple of seasons ago.

I loved the show from the first episode and it just got better and better. In fact I think I'll break up my LOST rewatch (got S1-5 on Blu-ray for Christmas) with some classic 30 Rock.

Just watched the first episode from last night (my DVR has 2, not sure if the 2nd is a repeat, but its dated 2010). Kenneth attempting to hack the computer killed me.

I must say it takes some MAJOR cohones to show a guy with dried jizz all over his face on primetime network TV (and it was HILLARIOUS!)

It was glitter and face paint, but my wife thought the same thing when she saw it.

the first episode about jack breaking in to erase his drunked
message was hilarious. the other one less so but exemplify
why this show has the best writing on television.

I DVR a lot of shows, and you're right, the writing on 30 Rock is so far and above everything else on TV. Like night and day. There's other good shows, but nothing written this well. Liz with the mustache was scary...and funny.

Awesome episode tonight. I was laughing the entire episode. Kenneth with his Donkey disease was the funniest thing I've ever seen. I'm still laughing just thinking about him.

Nice cameo by Brian Williams.

Funny nod to the whole Comcast affair, too. "Kabletown" indeed

Flicks? Here's my collection. And I've seen a lot, too.

The review for Tracy was hilarious to read (what parts that could be read when paused) about him leading the audience in singing Porgy & Bess and when they didn't know the lyrics he realized he was surrounded by stupid racists ... hilarious! Then after Jenna turns the paper to the side she revealed a lower third headline that said "DVR Pausers Not Attractive to Women" ...... so that's my problem ...

And when Liz silently mouthed blah-blah-blah so they could insert the Lindsey Vaughn VO ... tooooo funny!!!

Proving once again why they have no comedy peer. This was perhaps the funniest 30 Rock I've seen (and I've seen them all).

"...and then I'm going to braid your hair."

To be fair, though, they stole the Olympics joke from The Simpsons who did it with the Super Bowl contestants many years ago.

The Simpsons have also made direct fun of the Fox network that broadcasts them which is the same kind of humor 30 Rock does with NBC.

Letterman was doing it over a decade before The Simpsons.

Another fantastic episode. Every week, this show gets funnier and funnier.

The NBC employee meeting was hysterical.

Tracy's reverse-Tiger scandal storyline was hilarious! And that Jenna's NASCAR endorsement would be lost if she slept with a black man was pure gold!

I loved how they described Comca... I mean "Kabeland" as a do-nothing corporation that just points satellite dishes to the sky and charges people a hundred bucks a month for whatever comes down off of them. Products? What are those?

The cable is already laid ... there's nothing to do!

(Except charge people outrageous prices for a substandard signal)

My favorite part was actually the Dr. Pepper commercial starring Dr. Spaceman. "I'm legally obligated to make those air quotes."
