I've been looking forward to this since I saw the first commercial. I've always thought Tracey Morgan was a funny sob and I like some of the other former SNL stars. I hope i'm not disappointed.

I just had to say, this last week's installment was just bad. The writing felt clunky and forced and not funny; just incredibly ordinary for a show that has always seemed like a cut above. What a shame, we're officially done with it.

You're done with a show that you say has always been "a cut above" after a bad episode?

In an interview last week Tina said that was just Alec's way of negotiating and they're definitely not planning for next year to be the last.

There was certainly some great moment on the 100th episode including a few of the surprising cameos. I really loved the unexpected Tom Hanks one at the end plus Bono in the limo.

Yes, I really am just that shallow and attention-deficit ridden.
It wasn't just this episode; it's really stopped working for me for a while but you hang on out of habit. This episode I really actively disliked, and yes, partly because I have always had expectations of this show. But I don't like to watch 'ordinary' sitcoms. This show, based on my last few samplings, has become ordinary.

I loved the end when Jack/Alec explained why a movie actor should never do TV. I wonder if there was some personal truth in it, or just Alec being a great actor.
