I saw the thread on the HD yule log being broadcast on INHD via D* and I'm intrigued. Since Dish doesn't carry INHD, does anyone know if and of the Dish channels will be broadcasting a yule log (preferably in HD, but I'll take SD)?

D* doesn't have INHD either...

Don't you wish there were a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence? There's one marked "Brightness," but it don't work.

WPIX in the supers package will have it for awhile. Our Comcast OnDemand has it as well.

Doesn't HSN or some other channels do this?

It was originally done a station in NY.

Even Howard Stern has a version of it on his OnDemand Channel this year.

Haha, yes HowardTV will have a yule log this year.. but I'd rather not watch High-Pitch Eric eating chicken wings with no shirt on. :) I'm actually surprised they're not doing something that would be closer to a "log". :)

Now that Dish is actually begining to utilize their VOD feature (just recording stuff to your DVR for you), this would be a good chance to try something. Put a Fireplace or aquarium looped program in the DVR list.

Going to sign up for Dish Network? PM me for a ClubDish referral number that will give you a $50 credit on your first bill.
