It's HD in Detroit, and on ST. Try calling the 24 hour news line, and ask for engineering. Politely tell them others around the country are watching in HD.

You need to post your location, source, station.

Time Warner Cleveland, FOXHD.

I think it's a station issue and not a Time Warner issue/

Yes, it appears to be WJW. I see from the local thread Paul123 has already tried to call, don't know what the problem is. Another disappointing day of football in Cleveland.

I can confirm that it is a broadcast issue. On the Cleveland local thread someone said they are not receiving it in HD OTA as well. I called 216.432.4240 and spoke with someone at WJW He said he just received a call on it and that Central Control was now aware of it. He asked if it could be my source (TW) but I told him that someone reported it as a problem OTA as well. Hopefully it will be cleared up soon. Ken, you have some type of pull don't you? Wanna give a call?

I live in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area and have D*. Are any of you D* customers that receive WXMI in Grand Rapids get any audible RRReapting every so often? It's like when the annoncers talk about the game, there is an audible "flutter" that follows. I thought it might be the rain that we are currently getting, but I switched to OTA channel 17 and is not on there, or on any other D* channels. Half time is just done and it appears to be less noticeable... Anyone else here that in the first half of the game?

From what I understand some of the equipment didn't make it into Denver due to weather. It is borrowed from the local guys.

Then again what do I know...I'm sitting in a 53' white box watching TV.

SF/DEN - 50 yard camera doesn't look too sharp. Some of the long shots look kind of noisy.

Watching WJW-DT via WOW cable, Cleveland.

I am watching the San Diego/Arizona game on Fox Channel 11 in L.A and if this is HDTV I will eat my router. By contrast flip to L.A. Channel 2 (CBS) and see the Colts/Miami game in glorious 1080i. This poor quality has been representative of Fox all year. It should be designated LDTV (low definition TV) Looks like the old stretch standard def. Hats off to CBS & NBC for true HDTV.ESPN looks a lot better than Fox regardless of the fact that they are both supposedly 720p. Looking forward to 1080p conversion.

Chargers/Cardinals
D* 89 LA Yuck, Yuck, and triple Yuck
11.1 KTTV OTA Yuck, Yuck..... a major improvement

I prefer watching the OTA channel even with the annoying pauses on my HR10-250 running 6.3a.

49ers-Broncos on Fox OTA in Colorado Springs looks like caca - terribly blurry - I would have guessed "Fox Widescreen" rather than HDTV

I agree, particularly the main camera. Watching on D* ch 725.

Well I'm watching SD/AZ in LA and it looks like crap, if it's not in HD it's stretched by the broadcaster not my set. The Dallas game looke very good in HD.

TWC, KTLA

Edit. Comercials are letter boxed on the sides so what gives it it HD or Streched?

Because it's Fox Widescreen (480i > 720p, 16:9), which was all they had before they went HD.
