From NFL.com

It will be Round 3 for the Jets and Patriots after the AFC East rivals split the regular-season series, with each team winning on the road. New York won the last meeting at Foxboro 17-14 on Nov. 12. Once again, all eyes will be on the head coaches as Jets rookie Eric Mangini served six years under Bill Belichick, five as defensive backs coach and last season as defensive coordinator.

Detroit's WWJ-DT (no subs) via Brighthouse cable. Not the usual ten-out-of-ten picture. Still better than either of yesterday's NBC games, though. Found it odd that the Sony HDTV promo with Nantz was in SD. I don't catch it every week, but when I have, it's usually in HD.

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.

Gonna be a very long day for Chad. The shadows from the sun are driving me crazy but I can't blame that on cablevision here on Long Island.

Agreed. Watching WOIO-DT Cleveland with WeatherNow sub via WOW cable. The 50 yard cam seems a little soft or filtered or something. I can understand given the extreme sunny/shady contrast on the field at the moment.

Upon closer inspection, I don't see the level of detail in the crowd that I'm used to from CBS 1080i.

WCBS-DT NYC Cablevision.

Game looks good. The cable cam has a little edge enhancement but looks ok.

The stark contrast between areas drenched in sunlight, and dark areas in the shadows always make for less than optimum HD.

WTVR Richmond, VA 2 sub channels.

PQ is better than NBC yesterday but i'm only getting stereo. No 5.1 is like getting kicked in the stomach. The crowd sounds like it's getting filtered through a tin can.

Weird interference in one of the replay units. Of course it's not burn in, but it looks like it.

Just flipped through the local Richmond, VA thread and it seems CBS WTVR doesn't do 5.1 at all. I hope they do not have the Super Bowl.

KOTV, Tulsa OK via COX, not really that good. I haven't really watched a lot of NFL football this season, but it appears much worse than last year. Quite a bit of pixelation and blurring. I think this is do to subchannels.

2.0 here in Bristol, Tennessee also on our WJHL CBS affiliate. Picture looks great though.

There is stuttering on most field level shots that I am seeing. Must be local to Comast Seattle as I see no other mentiones of it...

I would give up DD 5.1, for a improved image. Wltx-DT Columbia, two subs.

I've got to give the Jets credit, they are making some plays, and staying close enough to still be well in the game.

7 points in the 4th is no margin for error. It always makes me nervous when a team hangs around.....
