What a difference the tail end of a season makes!
Next time they should write a full season of scripts, then toss the first two-thirds of them out, and continue onward from where the last third left off.
Great ep, other than Sawyer's killing of Locke's father which was as transparent as Saran Wrap from the get-go.
Even though Locke may show up with his father's body at the Others new camp next episode, Ben will know that Locke did not kill him, but may choose not to let on for his own manipulative reasons.

By who?? The Losties sure won't do it, and the Others will think a Lostie recovered the tape recorder by accident. Besides, Juliet (despite her appearance
as a mole), will recognize the Losties are her safest bet to get off the island, and will be working with them to accomplish that goal.

BTW, last night's events convinced me that Ben actually fears Locke, which is why he tried to cut off his balls in front of the whole camp.
