was suprised to see that the Fox saturday game between the yanks and mets is broadcast here in colorado on fox in HD. the HD part doesnt suprise me as I read about Fox's plans to broadcast Saturday baseball in HD this season.

what suprised me is that were not getting a NL west game as we did every saturday last year. as a mets fan, needless to say, im pumped for back to back games in HD this weekend. does this go for all markets? am i missing something?

edited FOXHD to FOX in HD, as someone will surely point out that FOXHD is the name of another future fox channel.

It is not exactly national. It goes to about 75% of the nation.

There's nothing shocking about Fox broadcasting a Yanks/Mets/Boston game in HD. They (and the East coast Sports Programming Network) do it almost every other weekend. It's a ratings game.

If Fox would do an AL Central Division game in HD, I might watch. Otherwise, I mow my lawn on Saturday afternoons from 1pm - 4pm ET. No joke.

You'll be happy to hear that FOX is now on from 4 to 7pm ET, so you can still watch after you finish with the lawn

I can't understand why they're not doing a Dodgers/Angels game this Saturday.

Here, in S Florida, our local Fox affiliate's (WFLX-DT) OTA Digital TV went off air last night in the middle of a movie. Still off air today during this game, I called and was told that its something wrong with the national feed. Cecilia in the newsroom said that its the national feed that is down, not anything at their station.

She recommended that we call Fox national. Did she have a number for me? No.

I'm not crazy!  My mother had me tested...

Anybody have any suggestions? Local affiliate is adamant its not them - and the newsroom won't let me talk to anybody in their engineering department (they're too busy). Can I call Fox national engineering somehow and get them to help?

Not sure what they are talking about -- the network feed is there, though the Yankees/Mets game looks horrible (very low resolution).

That's what I thought. I tried Fox-5 in NY, got the newsdesk, asked for engineering, and it rang and rang. Oh well.

Why were you calling FOX5 in NY? Just to see if they could verify a feed problem?

Lets Go Petz!

They'll make great Pets. And it means much more than Mets. The whole country is watching.

It's all just a game. I just play to win.

Of course, I get KCAL on my cable system. KCAL SD, that is.

By the way, the baseball games I get on KCAL SD on TW Desert Cities are the absolute crappiest signals I could ever imagine. I know the problem isn't with the original picture, but damned if I know where the problem is.
