Is this correct? She said clearly, and I questioned her, that after the 3 month free premium package had expired AND I canceled it that I could still access programming on demand, just 1 week later.

Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Thanks,
For on demand that is a definite NO. However, if you record something from live TV and keep it on your DVR, you will still be able to play that after you cancel the movie channels. When they offer the free preview weekends I'll record movies to watch later - after the free preview is over. They still play fine.

Anyone notice Bravo hd (ch.237) very soft, blurry? Pic is deffinitly different than last week.
I posted this on another site and had several to agree. Sent email to Directv and they sent back engineers reporting no problems.

I'm coming up on the end of my current 2-year commitment and I'm finding it frustrating that a variety of streaming sources (including NFL.com and ESPN) won't allow you to stream content if you're a DirecTV customer.

Has anyone heard if there are any immediate, impending plans to change this?

If not I'll cut the cord with DirecTV at the end of my contract. TIA.

Have you heard any other rumors about streaming sites?

I've got a bunch of old receivers, is the upgrade to the Genie still free?

This is a new one.

Anyone see/hear this ?

Other channels seem normal.
Haven't tried the US Open but I get weird audio on CBS (local station KVAL) for the shows I do watch, seems the 5 ch shifts perspective fairly regularly. No other channel I use does it.

Last 6 Dodger games coming to ALL of Los Angeles including DirecTV

According to the Los Angeles Times website, Time-Warner Cable has made a deal with local channel KDOC to carry the last six of the remaining late season Dodger games.

A major victory for all Dodger fans' TV coverage this year; a major precedent for OTA Dodger coverage for next season!

"Remember what it was like to hear Vin Scully broadcast the Dodgers on TV? Remember the Dodgers on TV?" - Steve Dilbeck, LA Times
