Or they could do Little Bang Theory... and do stories about all of them as kids... except, this is an alternate universe where somehow they all meet as kids instead of as adults.

I smiled a lot during the episode but never laughed out loud. The story lines were rather weak and a little boring.

If I were Leonard I don't think I would let Raj live with my wife, especially after they already attempted to sleep together once and seeing how close they are getting.

Yeah, last nights episode was pretty mild.

I wouldn't worry about Raj. I think they are setting the stage for his coming out.

They've been playing with stereotypes, tossing around broad hints, and doing a lot of eye-winking at the audience for a number of years regarding Raj's sexuality.

But in the interim, the climate has changed.

Just as they've never directly addressed Sheldon's potential placement on the autism spectrum, I think they may never do anything outright declarative -- more than they already have -- with Raj's orientation. Today there's more acceptance of the fluidity of gender identities and preferences, of the existence of a spectrum of behavors and preferences and orientations, than there was when Raj was introduced.

Episodes like this one point to an understandable reluctance to directly address any of these issues on an established sitcom not known for being topical. And he is, after all, only a supporting character. Maybe he's a straight guy who's into home decor and fashion. He wouldn't be the first. The on-screen evidence is that his sexual preference is for women. All pretty hot ones, so far.

Not sure about that. They have talked about this numerous times and even addressed it directly when Raj stated in one episode, "Definitely not gay" when certain things happened. He was all alone and just talking out loud. If he came out that would go against what they have established and addressed directly. They have really embraced his metro sexuality.

Still about 2.5 minutes short of what it should be, though 23:00 would really be nice.

Another episode without a lot of laughs. But I did find Howard's reveal of Bernie's aunt pretty funny. I think this episode would have been a LOT better if the whole thing was dedicated to uncovering what happened to Sheldon ala The Hangover.

Yeah, the previews indicated that was the main storyline, but was only a small part of it.

I was expecting some story like the Hangover as well. Seemed to me that entire plotline was shown in the preview.

Just okay. Enjoyable but nothing noteworthy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, in his defense the title of this thread is The Big Bang Theory. I could see where the confusion could come from.

I started to watch the episode a couple of day's later, and was surprised by the news update. No problem, using the voice remote I pulled up the pristine On Demand version. On Demand for the win.

I really liked last night's episode. One of the funniest ones of the season. The Bert storyline had been done before. But Sheldon's insults made up for it.

Ditto. Poor Bert. I guess we will see more about that subplot.

Bert calling in was funny. It was a good episode last night. Bernadette needs some anger management classes immediately.

I guess I am the odd person out. I didn't think it was that funny at all. I guess the baby storyline really killed it for me. The baby is starting to get old fast.

I thought it started strong then died down in the humor department. Howard's impersonation of Stuart was freaking awesome. How he starts it had me rolling. I rewound it three times.

I hope so. I always enjoyed Kandi (April Bowlby) on Two and a Half Men and this part isn't far off. I didn't recognize her but the moment I heard that voice I thought Kandi!
