Thumbs up

Well, at least some good news: I'm encouraged to see that Starz is broadcasting a perfectly clean image of their intriguing new series Outlander.

That's nice, but the last "during the movie" popup graphic I saw on that channel was for Outlander.

Right, Starz is usually pretty bad with it but at least this program (itself) was unlittered. I wonder how long that will last..

And speaking of how long something will last, the usual HBO presentations still appear spotless and unlittered [except of course for promos, which is somewhat understandable, I sorta guess].

The sensitive, intelligent managers at HBO have been our last holdout, ....that is, maybe until Murdoch sinks his claws into them.

Have you watched a movie on HDNET Movies? It's pretty decent. While I have seen a channel bug and a kid's scene bug, I have not seen a snipe nor end credit interference.

(Edited my previous post to add HDNET [movies] to our 'list'.)
