Hello,

I have a TV LED that works with the HDMi port but the problem that my receiver does not have an HDMI port.
the TV set has an HDMI port and a VGA port.
the receiver set has an RCA port and a scart port.
Is there a cable (scart or RCA) to (HDMI or VGA).

Thank you in advance.

No cable, as RCA video is analog and HDMI is digital.

They do make converters, though.

It sounds like you might be better off using your receiver for audio switching and using your tv to switch video inputs. That way you can keep the highest video quality.

What are you trying to do here?

My receiver has no hdmi ports, I use my TV to switch HDMI video then I use the SPDIF Optical out on my TV into my receiver for sound, receiver stays on one input all the time.

I'm looking for a cable SCART to HDMI or HDMI to RCA. If it does not exist I want the electronic diagram of an RCA to HDMI Converter.

I don't know where to get a diagram for one. Perhaps email the manufacturer.

The cable you want does not exist.

Yea, you cannot simply convert an analog signal to a digital one. You need an upconverter/downconverter

Why do you need a diagram of it? I don't think anyone has one offhand.

According to my Internet search I found a solution to my problem and I want your opinion.

Regarding the connection RCA / HDMI converter, but requires someone told me that this cable can solve the problem and he said that this cable is reversible. Is it true or not?

Regarding the connection RCA / VGA, I have chosen to put the first two cable for connecting c to d video cable (RCA or SCART) to VGA and the second is an RCA cable (audio) / audio jack. Is that possible in terms of quality?

The third option is to use an RCA cable (receiver output) to RF connector (to the antenna input of TV)

Please help me to solve this problem, I want justre review for these solutions if they are possible or not or whether there are other solution?

Thank you in advance

Sorry, but this paragraph is translated from French into English

You cannot convert composite video (single RCA connector) or SCART to HDMI with a cable. You need a transcoder that will likely cost more than a new receiver.

Likewise you cannot convert to RF (antenna) with a cable. You need a RF modulator, which may or may not be available to you at reasonable cost.

Stop looking for cables. The Chinese make all kinds of useless cables to cheat the uninformed.

Bonne chance!

Umm, we cannot simply "give you" a diagram. Companies have these things called "patents", it takes a lot of time and effort to make an upconverter/downconverter, if everyone had a diagram, none of these companies would be in business.

That will NOT work. AGAIN, you CANNOT simply convert rca to hdmi (or vice versa) with a cable. You NEED an upconverter/downconverter. That cable is designed for a specific video card that uses the hdmi output to ALSO output rca. That cable will ONLY work with that specific model video card.

And once again, you CANNOT convert those signals with those cables. Those cables are SPECIFIC to a certain model of video card, otherwise, they will do NOTHING for you.

So once again, to do what you want, you NEED an upconverter/downconverter. And NO, we cannot give you a diagram. Call up AJA Broadcast Systems and try to ask for a specific diagram of how to make their products, they will just laugh at you.
