This is gonna sound idiotic, but does anyone know of a way to turn off the DVR sharing on a Samsung SMT-H3272 box?

I share cable service with several roommates and my DVR box is too cluttered with their recordings that I don't care for, and I don't want them to accidentally delete my recordings. Ideally I'd only want it disabled on my box so they can still share recordings between themselves.

You can unsubscribe to WH-DVR on that, or install some kind of filter which can block the WH-DVR from entering your box. Something like a low pass filter, or even a MoCA filter could work.
