Back when I was looking around quite a bit for an AVR, I was trying to make sure it supported 0-255 for most of my gaming equipment (games consoles) as I believe if the games were made in 0-255, you should be outputting 0-255. It's very difficult to find info if a certain device supports 0-255 (PC Levels), but I discovered (If I'm correct) that the VGA cables only support 0-255. I have a projector, the BenQ W1070, which has a VGA port and fully supports 0-255, I can just switch to PC levels when I need to.

So my question then really is, if I'm looking for a piece of equipment such as an AV Receiever, HDTV, projector ect, will it having a VGA port be a indication that it supports 0-255?
