I have been looking for an RCA cable splitter that splits composite video out (3 male RCA plugs on that end) to dual RCA composite video outputs (dual RCA female outputs of 3 female plugs each). I have found exactly what I am looking for on Monoprice (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10422&cs_id=1042205&p_id=2899&seq=1&format=2) however it is described as being for component video instead of composite video. This splitter has the exact plug configuration which I am looking for. Is there any reason I can't use it for composite video connections instead of the component video connections described? Thanks for any feedback.

Yeah, it should work. Just have to make sure that you match up the color (if you use the red input, it'll split out the red output.)

Don't believe everything on the Interwebz! A duck's quack DOES echo!

Composite video is just one cable -- typically, yellow. If if what you're looking for is RedGreenBlue, that's component, not composite.

CIAO!
