Hi everyone. I have a problem I know you can help me with. I'm spending quite a bit of time at my family's home, helping out with things. One of the rooms has an older analog TV that had just basic cable (cable from the wall right into the back of the set). I ordered a box from TW so we could have more channels in the bedroom. They sent the box, and here's my issue..I have coax coming out of the wall, one coax in on the TW box, but no coax out to go to the TV. There is a set of RCA type jacks on the back of the TV...and on the TW box..so am I better off using those, or is there a converter for the HDMI out that would work better? I'm open to just about any suggestions...thanks!

Use the RCA connections. It'd be a waste of time and money to convert the output of the box to HDMI.

There's nothing really to be gained from the HDMI out in this situation, and assuming you find a converter, it would only serve to make your wallet lighter. The signal would have to be scaled down to standard def resolutions for the older TV to work anyway. The RCA outputs already put out the needed signal, so in a sense the converter you're considering is already in the TW box itself.

Don't believe everything on the Interwebz! A duck's quack DOES echo!
