Screen shift to the left with 24hz (DP to HDMI converter).

Hello,

I have a Dell Optiplex 3040 with a r5-340x, both adapters feature 1 DVI port and 1 DP port.
I use this computer as a media station and it is connected to 2x a U2715H and a projector: Sony HW40ES.
As the projector only supports HDMI i have bought a Delock Adapter Displayport 1.2 male > HDMI female 4K 60 Hz Active.

If i force the videocard into 1080p/24f my screen shifts to the left.
So about 10% of my screen which should be left is suddenly at the right side of my screen.

This happens only through the HDMI connection. So i can replicate the same issue on my U2715H if i connect it through HDMI instead of DP.

If i use 1080p/50hz or 1080p60hz there is no problem.
What am i doing wrong?

solved:

the delock converter doesn't support 24hz.
so i got a club-3d converter which works flawless!
