Coax in to RCA composite out

I'm interested in any information on a device that would enable me to convert coax output from my cable box to composite video/audio output. Any information would be much appreciated.

You should search for an analog RF DEmodulator. There used to be channel 3 specific demodulators for video game systems but this should work. You'll just leave it on channel 3, which is usually the output of cable boxes. Note this will not work for digital broadcast (ATSC) television.

An old VCR would work also. It doesn't need to work past staying on and tuning channel 3.
