STARZ Subscriptions Gone Ala Carte
Been with Comcast since they started and receive top package with all Premium Channels and X1 Service to 4 TV's which includes HD.
First time ever yesterday 7/6 my wife did Starz On-Demand to view "A Good Year" and they made it only available to us as a Starz Subscriber in "SD" Turdvision for free. They wanted an extra $3.99 for HD on a ten year old movie. This is tantamount to ordering the NY Times and making you pay extra for Sports or financial sections. Never had a subscriber where I pay a monthly Premium to charge extra for HD which is not new or groundbreaking at this point. Could understand if it were a 4K UHD but HD.
Comcast and it's Subscription providers appear to be initiating an Ala Carte system when in fact I already pay for the Content and full HD yet now they are seeking extra fee's above and beyond when in the past ALL was inclusive as a subscriber. Wasn't trying to stream or make it mobile. This is the first I've been asked for extra fee's to view something in HD when I'm a paid subscriber to that service. Complained to Comcast Service but they were useless as they just said that's the way it is and under Consumer Contract Law they are full of it! No wonder Cutting the Cord is becoming trendy.
This is ASININE and a BREACH of the Subscriber's On-Demand to suddenly charge a Premium for HD in 2017? How does that make sense?
