Considering that HDMI 3.0 is supposed to require a 48Gbps bandwidth for full compliance, and at a reported 6' maximum distance, I'll chalk this up to marketing b.s. until a consumer can prove otherwise. As for expense, I'm sure they will be very expensive and if your connected devices don't have the most current HDMI chipsets in them, you won't get the full benefit. Way too early to seriously consider a 56Gbps cable when the 48Gbps cable, and devices who can take full advantage of it, haven't even been released yet.
